An OVA file is an Open Virtualization Appliance that contains a compressed, installable version of a virtual
machine. When you open an OVA file it extracts the VM and imports it into whatever virtualization software you
have installed on your server.” We currently support ESXi 5.5 6.0
We recommend 4 hour minimum remote installation with any of our VTLSE appliances. During this time an
engineer will assist in creating tape libraries, tape emulation, host to VTL connectivity, and answer any questions
you may have. If this is your first operation of the DSI VTL product we also recommend additional training and
operator functionality.
