This action research will determine the level of awareness and safety practices on chemical
waste management of Aparri School of Arts and Trades.
Specifically, the study will answer the following questions:
1.What is the level of awareness on chemical waste
management as perceived by:
1.Students
2.Teachers
3.Administration
4.Maintenance Staff

2.2. Teachers
2.3. Administration
2.4. Maintenance Staff
3. Is there a significant difference between level of
awareness and safety practices on chemical waste
management as perceived by; a b c d
4. What contingency plan can be proposed to implement
proper chemical waste management?
Plan for Data Analysis
The study will employ descriptive-correlational. Quantitative data collected from survey
questionnaires will be analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics,
including frequency distributions, percentages, means, and standard deviations, will be used to
summarize demographic data and assess levels of awareness, and safety practices among
respondents. ANOVA will be applied DETERMINE THE significant difference between level of
awareness and safety practices on chemical waste management as perceived by; a b c d
1.AND 2 MEAN AND sd WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE LEVEL OF AWARENESS
3. ANOVA will be applied DETERMINE THE significant difference between level of awareness
and safety practices on chemical waste management as perceived by; a b c d
The results will be interpreted and presented using tables, graphs, and charts to
facilitate easy comprehension. Findings will be discussed in relation to existing studies,
policies, and theoretical frameworks on hazardous material storage and safety
management in educational institutions. Based on significant trends and patterns,
recommendations will be formulated to enhance safety measures and mitigate health
risks at Aparri School of Arts and Trades. By adopting this structured approach, the
study aims to provide valid, reliable, and actionable insights that will contribute to the
development of effective safety policies in the school environment.
