Thesis Statement On Water Scarcity
1. We save lives, you can too.
Water is a fundamental human need, yet this
fact is often neglected. Today, over 660 million
people lack access to safe water. The lack of
access to safe drinking water causes over
840,000 deaths (nearly 1000 children daily),
negatively impacts education and leads to
poverty. According to the World Economic
Forum, the water crisis is the #1 global risk
based on impact to society (as a measure of
devastation). The water crisis has an adverse
effect on the development of our world.
Silent Crowd Drops strives for global equality.
We aim to help individuals living in developing
countries that lack access to clean water. In
less than 18 months, we have supplied over
400 water filters to 15 different countries
providing clean drinking water to 40,000
individuals. In some cases, we observe a 100%
elimination of water-borne diseases in whole
communities, preventing hundreds of deaths.
Together, we can make a difference.
