2. Need:
• Pesticide Spraying is done manually, which is the hazardous to the farmers
health as per the previous year (Where over 1000 farmers have died of
'toxic pesticides‘ at Yavatmal District in 2017 reported by THE HINDU)
• The technological solutions should be developed to solve the problems in
pesticide spraying.

4. Objectives
• To reduce direct contact of human at pesticide spraying and effectively
utilization of pesticides for crop.
• To develop Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) – (Drone) for pesticide
spraying for decided capacity.
• To build the robust model as per the pay load capacity and function
properly (Unbalance, Connectivity)
• Testing of various available nozzles for controlled spraying by using
sensors.
5. Methodology
• Build design CAD model as per the requirement.
• Virtual analysis of model using suitable software.
• Building of prototype for decided capacity and function.
6. Methodology Conti….
• Development of Programming for operations like Flight Control, Spraying,
monitoring of flow and pressure, level sensors.
• Physical testing of drone parameters like load carrying capacity,
connectivity, easiness in operation for semi-skilled operator.
• Physical testing of spraying system parameters such as position of tank,
routing of pesticide carrying tubes, Position of nozzles, various types of
nozzles, uneven spraying(nozzles), capacity of pump.
7. Outcome
• Reduce the human contact by developing Drone Pesticide Spraying
System.
• Overcome the Health issue problems of Farmers.
• Manufacturing low cost Drone Pesticide Spraying system for Indian
farmers.
