2. How did you become interested in
motor racing?
My dad raced cars and when I was younger I
went and watched him. I loved the people and
the atmosphere. I started in Karts when I was
nine. Then I drove rally cars. Next year I’m
going to try Formula 3.
3. Is motor racing a popular sport in
the UK?
It’s massive! The UK is the centre of motor
racing. There are 750 clubs in this country and
100,000 competitions.
4. But most of those competitors are
men, I suppose.
There are more women than you think, but you
don’t see them very often because there aren’t
many womnen in Formula 1.
5. Why’s that?
I think the situation will change. Not many
women were really interested in the past. Also
journalist, sponsors and some drivers didn’t
support us. Now they say that it’s good to have
more women in the sport.
