SECTION A : SPORTING REGULATIONS
(The regulations are subject to change, which will be published via Additional
Supplementary Regulations – ASR).
Art.1. STATUS & PERMIT NUMBER
Zone International. This competition is held under the National Competition Rules
(NCR) of the Automobile Association of Malaysia, incorporating the provisions of
the International Sporting Code of the FIA, this Supplementary Regulations and
Additional Supplementary Regulation issued from time to time.

The Organiser reserved the rights to abandon, cancel, postpone or amalgamate
the dates of the event without prior notification due to not receiving more than
10 entries in each category or unforeseen circumstances.

Art. 6. ELIGIBILITY OF COMPETITORS
6.1 The eligibilities of competitors are as follows: -
a) Competitors in possession of a valid competition license issued by the
Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM) for Circuit Racing. (Minimum
competition license required: National “C” (Novice))
b) Competitors in possession of a valid competition license issued by the
Automobile Association of Malaysia/Motorsports Association of Malaysia
(AAM/MAM) for Circuit Racing. (Minimum competition license required:
National “C” (Novice) or National).
c) Competitors in possession of valid FIA International competition license
issued by the respective FIA – National Sporting Authority (ASN)
accompanied by a letter or visa of approval from the same to participate in
the event.
d) Any Malaysian team having a foreign driver(s) must hold the Automobile
Association of Malaysia (AAM) entrant/team license.
6.2 The organiser reserves the right to reject any entry in accordance with the
National Competition Rules (NCR) of the AAM. There is no appeal against their
decision.
Art. 7. ENTRIES
7.1 Entries are open upon posting of Regulations and close on the race day of each
scheduled round or as otherwise stated in the ASR. Acceptance of entry is at the
sole discretion of the organizers who have the right to reject entries without
giving reasons.
7.2 Competitors are responsible for sending correct and complete entries with the
correct entry fees prior to the entry closing dates. Entries open from 1600 hrs
and closed at 1900 hrs on the race day.
7.3 Incorrect or incomplete entries that have paid the entry fees (including driver to
be nominated entries) are to be held in abeyance until they are complete and
correct and the date of receipt for acceptance of entry purposes shall be the date
on which the Secretary of the Meeting receives the missing or corrected
information.
7.4 It is a condition of entry that competitors have no right to any claims against the
Automobile Association of Malaysia, Promoter, Organizer, Sponsors and any one
carrying out their duties.

7.6 Maximum number of entries accepted will be at the sole discretion of the
organizers. Organizers reserve the right to refuse an entry.
7.7 Entry fee for the event are as follows: -
Per Round Per Season (5 Rounds)
All Classes RM250.00 RM1,000.00
Entry for which the entry fees have not been received until the entry closing date
or for which the entry fees have not been paid completely are regarded null and
void.
7.8 Participant are allowed to participate in more than one category provided that
they pay the entry fees for the respective categories and also that the vehicles
comply with the technical regulations of the respective category.
7.9 Payment of entry must be made in cash.
7.10 The entry fee may be refunded under the following conditions: -
i) Refusal of entry
ii) Entry fee will not be refunded for participant who is disqualified from the
race due to any type infringement.

Art. 10. ELIGIBILITY OF VEHICLES AND CATEGORIES
10.1 The following are the categories listed for the event: -

10.2 Cars must be in good condition and meet all the safety requirements stated in the
regulations.
Please refer to Technical Regulations for specific details.
Art. 11. POINTS SCORE
11.1 The point scores for each category will be awarded for each round as follows: -
11.2 For any category with less than six (6) entries per round, no point will be awarded
for the said round.

11.3 Points will be accumulated from all rounds of the events to determine the overall
Champion.
11.4 Competitors with the most points will be declared the winner.
11.5 In the event of a tie, the winner will be the participant with the highest number of
race wins followed by the highest number of second and the highest number of
third.
11.6 The organiser will have the rights to determine the overall winner if there is still a
tie after all the above.
Art. 12. AWARDS
12.1 Trophies and prize money for each round will be as follows: -

Art. 13. SCRUTINEERING
13.1 All cars must comply with Section B – Technical Regulations. Refer to the said
regulations for each category.
13.2 Throughout the entire duration of the event, the cars must comply with the
Technical Regulations in all points. Engines may be sealed and the organizer
may impound cars.
13.3 Any car, which, after having passed scrutineering, is damaged, must be re-
presented to the Scrutineers after repair and be approved in order to be allowed
to continue.
13.4 Protest time is 30 minutes from posting of provisional results. The Organizer
reserves the right to strip any car after the race at the cost of the Team.
13.5 The Clerk of the Course reserves the right to impose additional weight penalties
to be carried on a car in the interest of equalization of performance.
Art. 14. DRIVERS’ BRIEFING
14.1 It is compulsory for all drivers to attend the Drivers’ briefing for the event. The
Organizer will confirm the exact time and venue of the briefing.
14.2 The Clerk of the Course reserves the right to organize a special drivers’ briefing
in addition to the compulsory briefing.
Art. 15. FORMAT OF DRAG BATTLE
15.1 4 starters or less
The event will be cancelled or amalgamated to higher class.
15.2 5 – 9 Starters
All competitors will compete in the Qualifying session of 2 sprints in which time
will be taken to determine the fastest 4 cars for semi-final.

15.3 10 starters above
All competitors will compete in the Qualifying session of 2 sprints in which time
will be taken to determine the fastest 8 cars for quarter and semi-final.
15.4 Quarter/Semifinal and Final
To be determined by a knock out system of running 2 cars at the same time with
the winner of each sprint proceeding to the next round.
15.5 Pairings
In an attempt to reward the quicker of the qualifier, pairings after qualifying will be
based on qualifying elapsed times as per at attached ladder. (Please refer to
appendix I).
The first alternate will be positioned to race the slower of the opponents the
second alternate will race the next slowest car and so on.
Once qualifying has been concluded and a ladder has been established, pairings
will not be changed.
Art. 16. STARTING PROCEDURE
16.1 A “Christmas Tree” light system will be used.
16.2 Starting sequence:
Cars will proceed slowly to the start line.
There will be two (2) white lights on the top of the tree. When the first light
comes on, it means that your front tyres have passed the pre-stage line. Go
forward slowly until another couple of inches until the second light comes on.
At this point, you are staged.
Once the other competitor completed his staging, the race will soon begin.
The starter will give about five (5) seconds before starting the lights.
Three (3) amber lights will flash and the green light will flash.

Any car moving before the green lights flashes will be considered to have
jumped the start. The timing equipment will detect this.
The participant will be disqualified for the particular run only if it is still in the
qualifying session.
If the participant to have jumped the start during the quarter final, semi final
and the final, he or she will be disqualified from the run.
No protest or complaint will be entertained on this matter.
16.3 Lane Choice
The driver with the better qualifying time gets the first round lane choice and in
subsequent rounds, lane choice goes to the driver with the lower time in the
previous round.
Art. 17. PODIUM
17.1 The podium ceremony will be held after the completion of the event for each
round. It is compulsory for the winners to be available for the podium ceremony
for each round with full gear except for helmet, gloves and HANS’s device.
17.2 At the end of the Championship season, an Award Ceremony will be held to
honour all the winners and it is compulsory for all the winners to attend, failing
which their prize money will not be released in full.
Art. 18. PROMOTER & ORGANISER’S RIGHTS
18.1 The organizers may abandon, cancel or postpone the meeting or any part
thereof. In this event, the competitor or entrant has no right to claim against the
Organizer or Promoter in respect of any loss or expense he/she may thereby
incur.
18.2 Cancel any class, which has less than 6 cars or amalgamate them to the next
higher class at the discretion of the organizers.
18.3 Distribute the awards based on intermediate results at their discretion if through
bona fide unforeseen circumstances, the competition is stopped before its
completion.
18.4 Exclude any vehicle whose appearance, condition or performance is not of a
standard appropriate for the competition.

18.5 Refuse an entry without giving any reason.
18.6 The Clerk of the Course of this meeting has the right to stop the race or any
driver immediately due to any unavoidable circumstances or as the case may be.
18.7 Competitors, entrants or any organisation will have no right to claim against the
Organiser or Promoter for any expenses incurred or losses suffered through the
exercising of these rights by the Organiser or the Promoter.
Any matters not provided in this Sporting Regulations will be referred to the
National Competition Rules (NCR) of the AAM.
Additional Supplementary Regulations will be published from time to time to
inform of any changes in the Sporting and Technical Regulations.
Art. 19. PITWALL/PITLANE/PITS/PADDOCK AREAS AND PARKING AREAS
19.1 Please refer to the illustration of the pit wall, pitlane, pits, paddock areas and
parking areas in Appendix II.
19.2 Pit allocation will be made by the organizer. Decisions are final and the pit
allocation will be published, once the final entries have been confirmed. There is
no right to be allocated a specific pit. Each pit will be shared by several
teams/cars.
19.3 There is no claim on a special pit wall, paddock areas and parking areas.
Access and allocation of areas will be made upon instruction of the officials and
their instructions must be strictly respected.
19.4 It is the responsibility of each competitor/team manager to ensure that team
members are fully conversant with all pit rules. Any contravention by any team
member may entail the exclusion of the team from the race.
19.5 No car may be driven in reverse in the pit lane. Immediate exclusion will result
from such action. Mechanics are allowed to push their cars backwards to their
designated pit.
19.6 Speeding is totally prohibited in the pit lane. The speed limit is 40 km/h that must
be respected all the times. Anyone found speeding in the pit lane, paddock &
parking will be excluded from the meet. Entry fees will not be refunded

19.7 Smoking and drinking of beer or alcoholic drinks are strictly prohibited in all areas
between the pit and the pit wall. A penalty of RM300 will be imposed on anyone
caught breaking these rules. Persons caught will be ejected from these areas.
19.8 Each team will be entitled to three (3) passes comprising of 1 competitor and 2
crews. These passes must be worn in a prominent manner at all times.
19.9 Persons under 16 years of age are not permitted in the pit lane and pit wall.
Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the pits, pit lane or pit wall until
the race has ended. An exception is made for glassed hospitality area in pits.
However, children are to be supervised by an adult at all times. Animals (of any
kind) are not permitted in the circuit.
19.10 No spare car or any other form of vehicle may be parked in the pits. Any such
vehicle found in the pit of any team will be reported to the Stewards of the Meet
for penalty up to exclusion. Illegally parked vehicles will be towed away at the
owner’s costs and an additional penalty of RM100 will be imposed on the owner.
19.11 The use of motorcars, skateboards or similar means of transportation by any
parties at paddock area are strictly prohibited. The organizer has the right to
confiscate such vehicles until the end of the event. Only non-motorised vehicles
are allowed at the paddock area.
Art. 20. PROTESTS
20.1 Under strict respect of the protest time of 30 minutes, all protest must be lodged
in writing and handed to the Clerk of the Course or if not possible, to the
Stewards of the Meeting. Protest fee is RM500.00 and striping fee, is RM500.00
20.2 Protests against decisions of the timekeepers, judges of fact as well as collective
protests are not admitted.
Art. 21. INTERPRETATION OF REGULATIONS
21.1 Only the Clerk of the Course can give binding information about the event, or in
his absence, his deputy.

21.2 In the case of any dispute, the interpretation of this Sporting & Technical
regulation, the Additional Supplementary Regulations is up to the Clerk of the
Course.
21.3 The Organizer reserves the right to modify or supplement the present regulations
if considered necessary for reasons of safety, force majeure or by order of the
authorities or to cancel the event in case that extraordinary circumstance should
arise, without any obligations for indemnification.

SECTION B : SAFETY & TECHNICAL REGULATIONS
Art.1. GENERAL SPECIFICATION
1.1 Rotary engine:
The capacity is calculated as: Actual Capacity Engine X 1.8
1.2 Vehicles body may be chopped, channeled, sectioned and streamlined.
Fiberglass bodies permitted. Must have full top and windshield, fenders
mandatory, fiberglass duplicates permitted. Fenders may be trimmed for tyre
clearance. Windshield is mandatory and must be in good condition and free from
cracks. It may be replaced with shatterproof material with1/8 inch minimum
thickness. OEM windshield may not be cut for scoops. Windshield/window tint
must meet the applicable government requirements.
Hood is mandatory. Hood scoop permitted.
1.3 Racing gasoline, gasoline and diesel are permitted. Fuel tank must not be
placed inside the passenger cabin or the engine bay.
1.4 Competition exhaust permitted. Exhaust must be directed out of car to and must
exit at the rear of the car.
1.5 Flywheel and clutch are free.
1.6 Brakes & Suspension
i) Minimum two wheel (one caliper per wheel) hydraulic brakes mandatory.
ii) Wheelie bars is permitted. Wheels must be non-metallic.
1.7 Tires & Wheels
i) Tires are open of make and type unless stated otherwise.
ii) Wheels must be automotive-type suitable for street use. Space-saving
spare wheels are not permitted.
1.8 Interior
i) Seats – must be properly braced, framed and supported seats constructed
aluminum, composite material, double layer poly or fiberglass (automotive
accessory seats) permitted.

ii) Seat belt is mandatory and must be worn all the times during the meet.
Minimum is 4 point harness.
iii) Fire extinguisher is highly recommended.
1.9 Batteries must be securely mounted and should not be located in driver
compartment.
1.10 Headlights, taillights and brake lights must be in working order and must be
switch on during the runs and when the vehicle is moving (pit lane, pit, paddock
area). Flashing or blinking lights are prohibited.
1.11 All participants must use an approved crash helmet during the meet. Approval of
crash helmet is entirely at the discretion of the Scrutineers.
1.12 Protective Clothing
i) All drivers are required to wear full-length pants, proper shoes, socks and
gloves. Nylon or nylon-type clothing and open-toe shoes are strictly
prohibited.
ii) Full racing attire (including shoes) is mandatory for Class A & B.
Art. 2. SPECIFIC MODIFICATION
Class A (Open)
1. Maximum engine capacity : No limit
2. Turbo, supercharged & Nitrous Oxide System (N.O.S) system are allowed.
3. All-wheel-drive vehicles permitted.
4. Roll cage is mandatory. (Please refer to Appendix III for roll cage drawings).
5. No minimum weight applicable.
Class B (2WD Limited Forced Induction)
1. Maximum engine capacity : No Limit
2. Either turbocharged, supercharged or Nitrous Oxide System (N.O.S). Only one
allowed.
3. 2WD vehicles only.
4. Roll cage is mandatory. (Please refer to Appendix III for roll cage drawings)
5. No minimum weight applicable.

Class C (2WD Natural Aspirated)
1. Maximum engine capacity : 2000cc
2. Only natural aspirated (Non-turbocharged and non-supercharged) engines are
allowed.
3. Variable valve timing engines are allowed.
4. Nitrous Oxide System (N.O.S) system is prohibited.
5. Minimum weight required – Please refer to the table in Appendix IV.
Class D (Turbo SFWD) - Street Front Wheel Drive
1. Turbo-charges and SFWD (Street Front Wheel Drive). 4WD & RWD are
prohibited.
2. Engines must be 2000cc and below. This displacement is referring to
original factory displacement.
3. Rotary engines are not allowed.
4. Variable Valve engine is allowed.
5. Nitrous Oxide System (N.O.S) system is prohibited.
6. Tyres are open. However, Drag or Slick tyre is not allowed.
7. Exhaust system is open.
7. Interior and exterior must be complete and present.
8. Wind screen, side windows and rear screen must be made of glass.
9. Safety is very important. Any car found lack of safety features will be
prohibited from entering this class.
10. Minimum weight of 900kg per car all the time (without driver)
Class E: K-Car
1. Engines must be 1000 cc and below.
2. Turbocharged or supercharged engines are allowed.
3. Nitrous Oxide System (N.O.S) system is prohibited.
4. Tyres are open.
5. A minimum weight (car only) of 550kg (for non-turbo/supercharged),
650kg(for Turbo/supercharged) must be respected at all times during the
meet.

Class F – Non-VTEC
1. Engines must be 2000 cc and below. This displacement is referring to
original factory displacement.
2. Turbocharged or supercharged engines are not allowed.
3. Rotary engines are not allowed.
4. Variable Valve engine, other than VTEC is allowed
5. Nitrous Oxide System (N.O.S) system is prohibited.
6. Tyres are open except for full Slick tyres.
7. Wind screen, side windows and rear screen must be made of glass.
8. Minimum weight of 750kg per car all the time (without driver)

STATUS & PERMIT NUMBER Zone International. This competition is held under the National Competition Rules (NCR) of the Automobile Association of Malaysia, incorporating the provisions of the International Sporting Code of the FIA, this Supplementary Regulations and Additional Supplementary Regulation issued from time to time. DESCRIPTION OF EVENT Five championship rounds of 405 Metres Sprint. Art. 4. VENUE OF THE EVENT Sepang International Circuit Art. 5. DATES OF THE EVENT Round 1 - 6th April 2013 Round 2 - 11th May 2013 Round 3 - 15th June 2013 Round 4 - 7th September 2013 Round 5 - 23rd November 2013 The Organiser reserved the rights to abandon, cancel, postpone or amalgamate the dates of the event without prior notification due to not receiving more than 10 entries in each category or unforeseen circumstances.

ELIGIBILITY OF COMPETITORS 6.1 The eligibilities of competitors are as follows: - a) Competitors in possession of a valid competition license issued by the Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM) for Circuit Racing. (Minimum competition license required: National “C” (Novice)) b) Competitors in possession of a valid competition license issued by the Automobile Association of Malaysia/Motorsports Association of Malaysia (AAM/MAM) for Circuit Racing. (Minimum competition license required: National “C” (Novice) or National). c) Competitors in possession of valid FIA International competition license issued by the respective FIA – National Sporting Authority (ASN) accompanied by a letter or visa of approval from the same to participate in the event. d) Any Malaysian team having a foreign driver(s) must hold the Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM) entrant/team license. 6.2 The organiser reserves the right to reject any entry in accordance with the National Competition Rules (NCR) of the AAM. There is no appeal against their decision. Art. 7. ENTRIES 7.1 Entries are open upon posting of Regulations and close on the race day of each scheduled round or as otherwise stated in the ASR. Acceptance of entry is at the sole discretion of the organizers who have the right to reject entries without giving reasons. 7.2 Competitors are responsible for sending correct and complete entries with the correct entry fees prior to the entry closing dates. Entries open from 1600 hrs and closed at 1900 hrs on the race day. 7.3 Incorrect or incomplete entries that have paid the entry fees (including driver to be nominated entries) are to be held in abeyance until they are complete and correct and the date of receipt for acceptance of entry purposes shall be the date on which the Secretary of the Meeting receives the missing or corrected information. 7.4 It is a condition of entry that competitors have no right to any claims against the Automobile Association of Malaysia, Promoter, Organizer, Sponsors and any one carrying out their duties.

Organizers reserve the right to refuse an entry. 7.7 Entry fee for the event are as follows: - Per Round Per Season (5 Rounds) All Classes RM250.00 RM1,000.00 Entry for which the entry fees have not been received until the entry closing date or for which the entry fees have not been paid completely are regarded null and void. 7.8 Participant are allowed to participate in more than one category provided that they pay the entry fees for the respective categories and also that the vehicles comply with the technical regulations of the respective category. 7.9 Payment of entry must be made in cash. 7.10 The entry fee may be refunded under the following conditions: - i) Refusal of entry ii) Entry fee will not be refunded for participant who is disqualified from the race due to any type infringement. EVENT OF PROGRAM (Subject to confirmation via ASR) 1600 hrs – 1900 hrs - Registration & Scrutineering 2000 hrs - Drivers’ Briefing 2030 hrs – 2130 hrs - Free Practice session 2145 hrs - Start of Qualifying 0200 hrs - Awards Presentation Art. 10. ELIGIBILITY OF VEHICLES AND CATEGORIES 10.1 The following are the categories listed for the event: - Class A Class B Class C Class D Class E Class F 10.2 Cars must be in good condition and meet all the safety requirements stated in the regulations. Please refer to Technical Regulations for specific details. Art. 11. POINTS SCORE 11.1 The point scores for each category will be awarded for each round as follows: - 11.2 For any category with less than six (6) entries per round, no point will be awarded for the said round. Page 7 of 22 21 st February 2013 11.3 Points will be accumulated from all rounds of the events to determine the overall Champion. 11.4 Competitors with the most points will be declared the winner. 11.5 In the event of a tie, the winner will be the participant with the highest number of race wins followed by the highest number of second and the highest number of third. 11.6 The organiser will have the rights to determine the overall winner if there is still a tie after all the above. Art. 12.   • 8. Page 8 of 22 21 st February 2013 Art. 13. SCRUTINEERING 13.1 All cars must comply with Section B – Technical Regulations. Refer to the said regulations for each category. 13.2 Throughout the entire duration of the event, the cars must comply with the Technical Regulations in all points. Engines may be sealed and the organizer may impound cars. 13.3 Any car, which, after having passed scrutineering, is damaged, must be re- presented to the Scrutineers after repair and be approved in order to be allowed to continue. 13.4 Protest time is 30 minutes from posting of provisional results. The Organizer reserves the right to strip any car after the race at the cost of the Team. 13.5 The Clerk of the Course reserves the right to impose additional weight penalties to be carried on a car in the interest of equalization of performance. Art. 14. DRIVERS’ BRIEFING 14.1 It is compulsory for all drivers to attend the Drivers’ briefing for the event. The Organizer will confirm the exact time and venue of the briefing. 14.2 The Clerk of the Course reserves the right to organize a special drivers’ briefing in addition to the compulsory briefing. Art. 15. FORMAT OF DRAG BATTLE 15.1 4 starters or less The event will be cancelled or amalgamated to higher class. 15.2 5 – 9 Starters All competitors will compete in the Qualifying session of 2 sprints in which time will be taken to determine the fastest 4 cars for semi-final.

Page 9 of 22 21 st February 2013 15.3 10 starters above All competitors will compete in the Qualifying session of 2 sprints in which time will be taken to determine the fastest 8 cars for quarter and semi-final. 15.4 Quarter/Semifinal and Final To be determined by a knock out system of running 2 cars at the same time with the winner of each sprint proceeding to the next round. 15.5 Pairings In an attempt to reward the quicker of the qualifier, pairings after qualifying will be based on qualifying elapsed times as per at attached ladder. (Please refer to appendix I). The first alternate will be positioned to race the slower of the opponents the second alternate will race the next slowest car and so on. Once qualifying has been concluded and a ladder has been established, pairings will not be changed. Art. 16. STARTING PROCEDURE 16.1 A “Christmas Tree” light system will be used. 16.2 Starting sequence: Cars will proceed slowly to the start line. There will be two (2) white lights on the top of the tree. When the first light comes on, it means that your front tyres have passed the pre-stage line. Go forward slowly until another couple of inches until the second light comes on. At this point, you are staged. Once the other competitor completed his staging, the race will soon begin. The starter will give about five (5) seconds before starting the lights. Three (3) amber lights will flash and the green light will flash.
  • 10. Page 10 of 22 21 st February 2013 Any car moving before the green lights flashes will be considered to have jumped the start. The timing equipment will detect this. The participant will be disqualified for the particular run only if it is still in the qualifying session. If the participant to have jumped the start during the quarter final, semi final and the final, he or she will be disqualified from the run. No protest or complaint will be entertained on this matter. 16.3 Lane Choice The driver with the better qualifying time gets the first round lane choice and in subsequent rounds, lane choice goes to the driver with the lower time in the previous round. Art. 17. PODIUM 17.1 The podium ceremony will be held after the completion of the event for each round. It is compulsory for the winners to be available for the podium ceremony for each round with full gear except for helmet, gloves and HANS’s device. 17.2 At the end of the Championship season, an Award Ceremony will be held to honour all the winners and it is compulsory for all the winners to attend, failing which their prize money will not be released in full. Art. 18. PROMOTER & ORGANISER’S RIGHTS 18.1 The organizers may abandon, cancel or postpone the meeting or any part thereof. In this event, the competitor or entrant has no right to claim against the Organizer or Promoter in respect of any loss or expense he/she may thereby incur. 18.2 Cancel any class, which has less than 6 cars or amalgamate them to the next higher class at the discretion of the organizers. 18.3 Distribute the awards based on intermediate results at their discretion if through bona fide unforeseen circumstances, the competition is stopped before its completion. 18.4 Exclude any vehicle whose appearance, condition or performance is not of a standard appropriate for the competition.

Page 11 of 22 21 st February 2013 18.5 Refuse an entry without giving any reason. 18.6 The Clerk of the Course of this meeting has the right to stop the race or any driver immediately due to any unavoidable circumstances or as the case may be. 18.7 Competitors, entrants or any organisation will have no right to claim against the Organiser or Promoter for any expenses incurred or losses suffered through the exercising of these rights by the Organiser or the Promoter. Any matters not provided in this Sporting Regulations will be referred to the National Competition Rules (NCR) of the AAM. Additional Supplementary Regulations will be published from time to time to inform of any changes in the Sporting and Technical Regulations. Art. 19. PITWALL/PITLANE/PITS/PADDOCK AREAS AND PARKING AREAS 19.1 Please refer to the illustration of the pit wall, pitlane, pits, paddock areas and parking areas in Appendix II. 19.2 Pit allocation will be made by the organizer. Decisions are final and the pit allocation will be published, once the final entries have been confirmed. There is no right to be allocated a specific pit. Each pit will be shared by several teams/cars. 19.3 There is no claim on a special pit wall, paddock areas and parking areas. Access and allocation of areas will be made upon instruction of the officials and their instructions must be strictly respected. 19.4 It is the responsibility of each competitor/team manager to ensure that team members are fully conversant with all pit rules. Any contravention by any team member may entail the exclusion of the team from the race. 19.5 No car may be driven in reverse in the pit lane. Immediate exclusion will result from such action. Mechanics are allowed to push their cars backwards to their designated pit. 19.6 Speeding is totally prohibited in the pit lane. The speed limit is 40 km/h that must be respected all the times. Anyone found speeding in the pit lane, paddock & parking will be excluded from the meet. Entry fees will not be refunded
  • 12. Page 12 of 22 21 st February 2013 19.7 Smoking and drinking of beer or alcoholic drinks are strictly prohibited in all areas between the pit and the pit wall. A penalty of RM300 will be imposed on anyone caught breaking these rules. Persons caught will be ejected from these areas. 19.8 Each team will be entitled to three (3) passes comprising of 1 competitor and 2 crews. These passes must be worn in a prominent manner at all times. 19.9 Persons under 16 years of age are not permitted in the pit lane and pit wall. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the pits, pit lane or pit wall until the race has ended. An exception is made for glassed hospitality area in pits. However, children are to be supervised by an adult at all times. Animals (of any kind) are not permitted in the circuit. 19.10 No spare car or any other form of vehicle may be parked in the pits. Any such vehicle found in the pit of any team will be reported to the Stewards of the Meet for penalty up to exclusion. Illegally parked vehicles will be towed away at the owner’s costs and an additional penalty of RM100 will be imposed on the owner. 19.11 The use of motorcars, skateboards or similar means of transportation by any parties at paddock area are strictly prohibited. The organizer has the right to confiscate such vehicles until the end of the event. Only non-motorised vehicles are allowed at the paddock area. Art. 20. PROTESTS 20.1 Under strict respect of the protest time of 30 minutes, all protest must be lodged in writing and handed to the Clerk of the Course or if not possible, to the Stewards of the Meeting. Protest fee is RM500.00 and striping fee, is RM500.00 20.2 Protests against decisions of the timekeepers, judges of fact as well as collective protests are not admitted. Art. 21. INTERPRETATION OF REGULATIONS 21.1 Only the Clerk of the Course can give binding information about the event, or in his absence, his deputy.

Page 13 of 22 21 st February 2013 21.2 In the case of any dispute, the interpretation of this Sporting & Technical regulation, the Additional Supplementary Regulations is up to the Clerk of the Course. 21.3 The Organizer reserves the right to modify or supplement the present regulations if considered necessary for reasons of safety, force majeure or by order of the authorities or to cancel the event in case that extraordinary circumstance should arise, without any obligations for indemnification.
  • 14. Page 14 of 22 21 st February 2013 SECTION B : SAFETY & TECHNICAL REGULATIONS Art.1. GENERAL SPECIFICATION 1.1 Rotary engine: The capacity is calculated as: Actual Capacity Engine X 1.8 1.2 Vehicles body may be chopped, channeled, sectioned and streamlined. Fiberglass bodies permitted. Must have full top and windshield, fenders mandatory, fiberglass duplicates permitted. Fenders may be trimmed for tyre clearance. Windshield is mandatory and must be in good condition and free from cracks. It may be replaced with shatterproof material with1/8 inch minimum thickness. OEM windshield may not be cut for scoops. Windshield/window tint must meet the applicable government requirements. Hood is mandatory. Hood scoop permitted. 1.3 Racing gasoline, gasoline and diesel are permitted. Fuel tank must not be placed inside the passenger cabin or the engine bay. 1.4 Competition exhaust permitted. Exhaust must be directed out of car to and must exit at the rear of the car. 1.5 Flywheel and clutch are free. 1.6 Brakes & Suspension i) Minimum two wheel (one caliper per wheel) hydraulic brakes mandatory. ii) Wheelie bars is permitted. Wheels must be non-metallic. 1.7 Tires & Wheels i) Tires are open of make and type unless stated otherwise. ii) Wheels must be automotive-type suitable for street use. Space-saving spare wheels are not permitted. 1.8 Interior i) Seats – must be properly braced, framed and supported seats constructed aluminum, composite material, double layer poly or fiberglass (automotive accessory seats) permitted.
  • 15. Page 15 of 22 21 st February 2013 ii) Seat belt is mandatory and must be worn all the times during the meet. Minimum is 4 point harness. iii) Fire extinguisher is highly recommended. 1.9 Batteries must be securely mounted and should not be located in driver compartment. 1.10 Headlights, taillights and brake lights must be in working order and must be switch on during the runs and when the vehicle is moving (pit lane, pit, paddock area). Flashing or blinking lights are prohibited. 1.11 All participants must use an approved crash helmet during the meet. Approval of crash helmet is entirely at the discretion of the Scrutineers. 1.12 Protective Clothing i) All drivers are required to wear full-length pants, proper shoes, socks and gloves. Nylon or nylon-type clothing and open-toe shoes are strictly prohibited. ii) Full racing attire (including shoes) is mandatory for Class A & B. Art. 2. SPECIFIC MODIFICATION Class A (Open) 1. Maximum engine capacity : No limit 2. Turbo, supercharged & Nitrous Oxide System (N.O.S) system are allowed. 3. All-wheel-drive vehicles permitted. 4. Roll cage is mandatory. (Please refer to Appendix III for roll cage drawings). 5. No minimum weight applicable. Class B (2WD Limited Forced Induction) 1. Maximum engine capacity : No Limit 2. Either turbocharged, supercharged or Nitrous Oxide System (N.O.S). Only one allowed. 3. 2WD vehicles only. 4. Roll cage is mandatory. (Please refer to Appendix III for roll cage drawings) 5. No minimum weight applicable.
  • 16. Page 16 of 22 21 st February 2013 Class C (2WD Natural Aspirated) 1. Maximum engine capacity : 2000cc 2. Only natural aspirated (Non-turbocharged and non-supercharged) engines are allowed. 3. Variable valve timing engines are allowed. 4. Nitrous Oxide System (N.O.S) system is prohibited. 5. Minimum weight required – Please refer to the table in Appendix IV. Class D (Turbo SFWD) - Street Front Wheel Drive 1. Turbo-charges and SFWD (Street Front Wheel Drive). 4WD & RWD are prohibited. 2. Engines must be 2000cc and below. This displacement is referring to original factory displacement. 3. Rotary engines are not allowed. 4. Variable Valve engine is allowed. 5. Nitrous Oxide System (N.O.S) system is prohibited. 6. Tyres are open. However, Drag or Slick tyre is not allowed. 7. Exhaust system is open. 7. Interior and exterior must be complete and present. 8. Wind screen, side windows and rear screen must be made of glass. 9. Safety is very important. Any car found lack of safety features will be prohibited from entering this class. 10. Minimum weight of 900kg per car all the time (without driver) Class E: K-Car 1. Engines must be 1000 cc and below. 2. Turbocharged or supercharged engines are allowed. 3. Nitrous Oxide System (N.O.S) system is prohibited. 4. Tyres are open. 5. A minimum weight (car only) of 550kg (for non-turbo/supercharged), 650kg(for Turbo/supercharged) must be respected at all times during the meet.

Turbocharged or supercharged engines are not allowed. 3. Rotary engines are not allowed. 4. Variable Valve engine, other than VTEC is allowed 5. Nitrous Oxide System (N.O.S) system is prohibited. 6. Tyres are open except for full Slick tyres. 7. Wind screen, side windows and rear screen must be made of glass. 8. Minimum weight of 750kg per car all the time (without driver)
