- Detectives Adamska Kowalski and Evelyn Sawyer are called to investigate two bodies found on a farm. Both bodies have strange engravings carved into their skin. - One body is fresh while the other is estimated to be two months old. This reminds Evelyn of a previous serial killer case with similar markings. - The detectives question the old farmer, Mr. Cooper, who found the bodies. The farmer's son, Tom Cooper, who is also an officer, grows increasingly uncomfortable with their questioning. - When the detectives refuse to rule the farmer out as a suspect, Tom attacks Adamska in anger before Evelyn subdues Tom with her stun baton. She calls for backup

EXT. RAINING OUTSIDE FARM DUSK AT THE CRIME SCENE
OVER BLACK WE HEAR THUNDER AND RAIN UNTIL THE CAMERA PANS UP
FROM WET FARM GRASS TO THE MUDDY BOOTS OF KOWALSKI AND HIS
SWAY PIN-STRIPED NAVEY SUIT BEING KEPT DRY BY A RAIN COAT.
IN THE DISTANCE WE CAN SEE THE BLURRY FIGURE OF EVELYN
SAWYER STANDING UNDER AN UMBRELLA BEHIND HIM.
KOWALSKI IS GREETED BY CHIEF CONSTABLE TOM COOPER WHILST
EVELYN IS OVER BY THE FORENSICS TEAM.
KOWALSKI AND SAWYER HAVE BEEN CALLED TO THE SCENE WHERE A
BODY HAS BEEN DISCOVERED.

dead and alive. the marks are

telling him to crave these into
people in order to determine who
would live or die when the end of

EVELYN SAWYER AND ADAMSKA KOWASLKI WALK OVER TOWARDS TOM
COOPER AND OLD MAN COOPER.

EVERMORE UNCOMFORTABLE.

More like trying to falsely accuse

HE QUICKLEY SWINGS HIS FIST AT ADAMSKA'S FACE, BREAKING HIS
NOSE. EVELYN DRAWS HER STUN BATON WHICH SHE DIRECTS WITH
FORCE INTO THE CROUCH OF TOM COOPER.
A SHOT OF ADAMSKA AND TOM AS THEY BOTH LAY ON THE FLOOR IN
PAIN. EVELYN THEN PULLS OUT HER RADIO.
