Step One: Go to BCBSRI.com and log on. You’ll need your
member ID card and a valid email address.
Step Two: Choose a doctor. Our Find a Doctor search tool
on BCBSRI.com makes it easy.
Step Three: Schedule your annual well visit. This doesn’t
cost you anything. Take advantage of it.

tep Four: Schedule a checkup with your dentist. Your
plan provides full coverage for one cleaning and one set of
bitewing X-rays per calendar year.

tep Five: Join a gym. We’ll give you $100 toward your
membership fee and guarantee that you get the lowest
membership rate available at more than 75 gyms in Rhode
Island. The actual exercising part, that’s up to you.

3. New! Diminishing Deductible

Your health plan features our new Diminishing Deductible Program. Here’s how it works: You get a 20
percent deductible reduction following the first year you don’t meet your individual or family deductible
and a 40 percent reduction in the second year. If you don’t meet your deductible for three years in a row,
your deductible amount is cut in half—50 percent—in year four and stays at that level until you reach
your deductible.*
