Martin Buber was an Austrian-born Jewish philosopher known for his philosophy of dialogue and distinction between I-Thou relationships and I-It relationships. In I-Thou relationships, people fully engage with each other with openness and concern for the other, while I-It relationships are more detached and utilitarian. For Buber, God represents the ultimate Thou that can never become an It. He believed meaningful human experiences involve meeting God through encounters with others and the world. The document also discusses Sun Myung Moon's Divine Principle teachings about relationships, love, and the necessity of Jesus' second coming to fulfill the complete salvation of humanity.
Introduction to the Five Great Reams of Heart = Grand Parents Love, Couples Love, Siblings Love and Childs Love, and the Three Great Kingships. The Three Great Kingships are vertically-oriented. 1. Children's kingship: children represent the future.
2. Parents' kingship: parents represent the present. 3. Grandparents' kingship: grandparents represent the past, spiritual world and God.
The document provides an overview of key concepts in Catholic theology, liturgy, and morality. It discusses eschatology and the final judgment. Heaven is described as union with God and full happiness, while Hell is eternal separation from God. Major liturgical seasons are also outlined such as Advent, Lent, and Easter. The sacraments are presented as efficacious signs of God's grace that bring about spiritual realities. Moral concepts like mortal and venial sin are also summarized.
1) Jesus came as the True Father to give spiritual rebirth by cleansing people of original sin and transforming them from evil to good. The Holy Spirit came as the True Mother to assist in this spiritual rebirth.
2) For full salvation, people must receive both spiritual and physical rebirth, as the fall impacted humanity both spiritually and physically. Christ must return physically to grant this full salvation.
3) True Parents, both spiritually (Jesus and the Holy Spirit) and physically (the returning Christ), are needed to give rebirth and allow people to establish relationships with God centered on true love.
This document discusses important questions about worship, including where worship originates, what worship is, what idolatry is, and how to nurture worship. It explains that God receives perfect worship within the Trinity, and that true worship entails glorifying and sacrificing for Jesus. Idolatry involves worshipping anything other than God, such as things God created or things humans created. The document provides steps to renew worship on personal, relational, missional, church, and structural levels in order to focus exclusively on worshipping God rather than any false idols.
Familiaris consortio part 2 god's plan for the familyMartin M Flynn
This document summarizes Pope John Paul II's apostolic exhortation "Familiaris Consortio" on the Christian family in the modern world. It outlines the six main parts of the document: 1) Man as the image of God, 2) Marriage and the communion between God and people, 3) Jesus Christ as the bridegroom of the Church and the sacrament of matrimony, 4) Children as the precious gift of marriage, 5) The family as a communion of persons, and 6) Marriage and virginity or celibacy. The summary provides a high-level overview of the key topics and themes addressed in each part.
The document discusses principles of spiritual growth and the relationship between the physical and spiritual worlds according to religious texts and philosophy:
1. Spiritual growth occurs in stages through balancing giving and receiving between the spiritual and physical selves, with the spiritual self developing virtues through moral conduct in the physical world.
2. Humans exist in both the physical and spiritual worlds, and have the potential to govern the cosmos by connecting the two worlds through love and truth.
3. The spiritual body continues after death, and near-death experiences commonly describe encounters with spiritual phenomena like a bright light or meeting deceased loved ones.

This document is a guide for a young adult group discussing the theology of the body. It includes an overview of key topics in the theology of the body such as sex and existence, understanding the body as a theology, and God's mystery in the spousal analogy. It also discusses freedom, love, redemption of sexuality, and provides practical tips for living out the theology of the body such as prayer, frequenting the sacraments, and witnessing to the truth. The goal is to help young adults come to know, understand, and live the theology of the body.
The document provides a list of 20 things that the author believes children should know about God, humanity, Jesus, and the sacraments before receiving communion for the first time. The list includes basics such as: there is one God in three persons; God created everything; Jesus is both God and man; and in communion one receives the body and blood of Christ. The author explains that knowing these concepts will help children understand what they are doing when receiving communion and mean what they say. The document also provides context for some of the concepts on the list.
Through his Theology of the Body, Pope John Paul II seeks to explain the meaning and purpose of the human body and sexuality based on Scripture. He discusses how Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden existed in a state of "original unity" as equal partners who freely gave themselves to each other without shame. Their nakedness represented their purity of heart and ability to see each other not as objects but as gifts. John Paul II emphasizes that the body has a "nuptial meaning" and was designed to show humans their vocation to love through total self-gift. Prior to becoming Pope, Karol Wojtyla explored these themes in his book Love and Responsibility.
This document contains excerpts from various sources discussing the Christian doctrine of the Trinity. It describes how the Trinity reflects an eternal community of mutual, self-giving love between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It also discusses how understanding God as triune, rather than unipersonal, means that love, not power, is at the center of reality. Finally, it explores some of the metaphysical claims of Christianity, such as the idea that self-giving love is what sustains all life and provides meaning.

The Ten Commandments are a list of religious and moral imperatives given by God to Moses and the Israelites. They establish a covenant between God and the people where God promises to bless and protect them, and they promise to be faithful by loving God and following his commands. The Ten Commandments are summed up by the two greatest commandments to love God with all your being and to love your neighbor as yourself. Honoring saints, angels, relics and images is allowed as it shows respect for those in heaven, but we must not give the worship due to God alone to any created being.
Change of lineage through Jesus and the Holy SpiritWilliam Haines
The document discusses the concept of lineage and how it relates to identity and fallen human nature. It explains that true parents must change the satanic blood lineage inherited through generations by embodying God's love. The lineage can be changed through living for the sake of others and enduring struggles against satanic love. Jesus came to change the lineage from Satan to God by providing spiritual and physical salvation through his life and teachings.
The document discusses the doctrine of the Trinity based on Ephesians 1:1-14. It notes how Paul distinguishes the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, showing their distinction, ranking (Father first), and the Son's centrality in salvation. Various verses emphasize the Father's role in choosing, blessing, and granting grace, while blessings come through the Son by the Spirit. The early church struggled to reconcile monotheism with the deity of Father, Son, and Spirit, ultimately finding support for all three in Scripture.

“Being the right person to serve my future spouse’s needs and be a God-glorifying husband or wife”
"Acceptable" is such a loose term, so it's hard to say what is "acceptable" for any given person. After all, everyone is a different individual and their situations and maturity will vary greatly. Something that is acceptable for one person may not be acceptable for another.
Also keep in mind 1 Corinthians 10:23 (NIV), which says, "'I have the right to do anything,' you say—but not everything is beneficial. 'I have the right to do anything'—but not everything is constructive." We have many freedoms through Christ, but that doesn't mean that everything will be healthy or good for you.
The document discusses the spirituality of the Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo, which is based on the Trinity and focuses on communion, compassion, and contemplation. Their spirituality has three dimensions - personal prayer and conversion, interpersonal communion and love in action, and social mission of justice and ecology. It is rooted in the life of the Trinity and inspired by the communication and communion between the three persons of the Trinity.

The Ecclesial Family: John Chrysostom on Parenthood and Children by Vigen Gur...Jammi Avila
This document discusses John Chrysostom's views on parenthood and children from an Orthodox Christian perspective. It provides biographical details on Chrysostom and the author Vigen Guroian. Chrysostom believed the Christian family is an "ecclesial entity" where parents and children rehearse for heaven. He emphasized the socialization of children into the church community. Chrysostom also believed that parental love and responsibility for children's Christian formation are essential, as outlined in Ephesians.
1. The document discusses the origins and characteristics of conjugal love between men and women from both theological and philosophical perspectives.
2. It argues that God designed men and women to exist as complements to each other, to unite in marriage and form families through which life and lineage are transmitted.
3. The union of husband and wife in the act of love is described as the most profound expression of their conjugal love, which should be total, faithful, exclusive, intimate, and open to new life.

1) The document discusses the importance of prayer in religious life and outlines Sun Myung Moon's teachings on prayer. It states that prayer allows one to connect to God and the spirit world.
2) It describes how prayer could have prevented humanity's fall from grace and discusses Jesus' prayer life. It also summarizes Moon's Divine Messianic Prayers in Korea in the 1950s and Europe in 1982.
3) The document emphasizes that prayer requires absolute faith, commitment, and a willingness to take on indemnity. It states that prayer can change one's fate and mobilize spiritual forces to accomplish great works.
This lesson will:
• Compare two lineages to show the relationship between family-building and nation-building.
• Show that a clear conscience is rooted in true love, life and lineage.
• Explain the relationship of and interaction between lineage and marriage.
• Demonstrate that honoring lineage is an important practice that will strengthen a couple’s marriage and a family’s destiny (and vice versa).
This document discusses the origins and purpose of love according to the teachings of Rev. Sun Myung Moon. It argues that God created the universe, humanity, and the family system for the purpose of love. The original ideal was for a man and woman to unite in true love, embodying God's love and becoming true parents. However, something went wrong early in human history that disrupted this ideal and caused suffering. The document aims to uncover the root cause of this problem and point toward its solution.

When darkness comes in like a flood, God raises a standard. A standard is a safe place for people to stand. Now, more than ever, darkness is coming upon us. We need to stand together, united. To do so, we need to understand and affirm the standards we share.

True Parents and God need each other and humanity to achieve perfection. Perfection is realized not through individual effort but through living for the sake of others and establishing relationships of interdependence centered on love. This requires embracing the Four Position Foundation through the Holy Marriage Blessing, whereby True Parents bestow divine nature upon humanity. By living by the golden rule and principles of living for others taught by Jesus and Sun Myung Moon, each person can perfect themselves while perfecting their relationships and the world.

This document provides a comparison of the Presbyterian Church (USA) [PCUSA], the Evangelical Covenant Order of Presbyterians [ECO], and the Evangelical Presbyterian Church [EPC] across various theological and organizational issues. Some key differences include:
- The PCUSA allows for more flexibility in beliefs around issues like salvation, the authority of Scripture, and homosexuality. The ECO and EPC take more traditionally conservative stances.
- The ECO and EPC affirm theological essentials/creeds and consider them authoritative, while the PCUSA does not have consensus on essential beliefs.
- The ECO and EPC require ordination vows affirming core doctrines like the authority
This document discusses several prophecies and prophets throughout history including:
- Nostradamus and his prophecies about the coming of Christ from the East to Asia and Korea specifically.
- Fatima and the Marian apparitions where Mary gave a message to be delivered to the Pope in 1960.
- The meaning and symbolism of prophecies in the Book of Daniel, Book of Revelation, and shape of Korea relating to the Second Coming of Christ and establishment of God's kingdom.
- Prophecies indicating 2000 years of preparation for Christ's return culminating in revelations given in Korea.
This document discusses several prophecies and religious figures that are claimed to have foretold or been connected with Sun Myung Moon and the Unification movement. It mentions prophecies by Nostradamus, Fatima revelations, Alice Bailey, William Branham, and communications from spiritualist Arthur Ford that are said to reference Moon. Here are introduction the the Divine Principle view.
Wolli Wonbon is an early manuscript of the Divine Principle written by Sun Myung Moon in 1951-1952 while living as a refugee in Pusan, South Korea. It contains almost 700 pages covering all aspects of the Divine Principle in a condensed form. While difficult to understand for ordinary people, it laid the foundation and roadmap for Moon's teachings. There is ongoing work to translate Wolli Wonbon into English to make it more accessible. It provides important insights into early understandings of theological concepts like the cross, God as both Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother, and the mission of Jesus and the Second Coming.
- The sermon discusses the providence of Cheonshimwon and its role in uniting Heaven and Earth. It highlights True Parents' teachings on becoming one with God and Christ.
- Testimonies are shared about experiences at Cheonshimwon prayer rallies, feeling True Father's heart and tears, and being spiritually revived.
- The sermon emphasizes that through Cheonshimwon, all people can attain a state of oneness with Heavenly Parent and True Parents, fulfilling the purpose of creating humanity in God's image.
This Sunday sermon discusses spiritual principles from the Bible and Divine Principle. It covers topics like the relationship between the physical and spiritual worlds, the law of attraction, discerning good and evil spirits, and fallen human nature. The sermon argues that modern ills like depression, violence and addiction have spiritual roots in original sin and the fall of man. It presents a solution in millions of messiahs and true parents who can achieve salvation for all of humanity. The sermon encourages praying for inspiration to reach higher levels of goodness.
The document discusses humanity's fall from God and the restoration process. It states that after the fall, humans became "half human" and could no longer experience God with their five spiritual senses. True Parents were needed to restore this. The document also references the spirit world, mentioning that spirits grow through nourishment from God and the physical world. It advocates living for the sake of others to deny one's fallen nature and follow God.
This document discusses the spiritual world and the original homeland that humanity is meant to return to. It states that the spiritual world is the original homeland, but that humanity currently lives a fallen life on Earth in exile. God has been establishing religions to train and guide people to qualify to return to the original homeland, with the standard being living for the sake of others. The document then shares excerpts from the biography of Hak Ja Han about Satan trying to attack her as an infant but being defeated by her mother, indicating she was destined to defeat Satan. Finally, it lists examples of prophecies around the world that pointed to the year 2000 and the Second Coming.
This document discusses several topics relating to spirituality and the spiritual world, including:
- The human being has both a physical and spiritual aspect.
- Swedenborg described life after death where the spirit continues living in a spiritual world in a spiritual body that corresponds to the physical one.
- Swedenborg said that both good and bad people fully survive physical death and our destiny is determined by our actions in life.
- Ann Lee, the founder of the Shakers, believed that sexual relations were the root of all sin based on her interpretation of the Garden of Eden story.
- A Course in Miracles was dictated to Helen Schucman by an inner voice she identified as Jesus, and discusses
This document discusses biblical prophecies and prophecies concerning the Second Coming of Christ. It summarizes various prophecies from the Old Testament, New Testament, Korean prophecies from the Chung Gam Nok text, and prophecies of Nostradamus. It discusses how these prophecies foretold the appearance of the Messiah in Korea and the establishment of God's kingdom on earth. The document also references how spiritual figures like Sundar Singh, Swedenborg, and others supported the idea of the Second Coming and resurrection of the body.
The document is a collection of quotes from Sun Myung Moon about the relationship between God and humanity. It discusses how human beings were created to be temples for God to dwell in. It says had Adam and Eve not fallen, God would live in our hearts and we would express God through our senses. It also talks about how Jesus came as the perfect temple for God and how through attaining perfection, one can become a temple where God's spirit lives. The quotes explore how God needs a physical form to manifest and rule over creation, and how through love, the spiritual and physical can be united.
This document provides a glossary of Korean spiritual terms used in the Unification movement. It defines abbreviations and short vocabulary for important texts, locations, and concepts. Key terms explained include Cheon Il Guk, the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, True Parents as the representatives of God, and the goal of establishing a world of peace under the heavenly parent. The document traces the origins and meanings behind the movement's terminology and emphasizes their significance for realizing God's ideal of one family under God.
Sermon DP & Beatitudes Part 2of2 - True Family - Owner of Peace & LineageBengt & Maarit de Paulis
The sermon discusses the Beatitudes from the Bible and their relationship to Divine Principle teachings. It provides quotes from Rev. Sun Myung Moon's speeches comparing the Old Testament commandments to Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. The sermon encourages living for the sake of others and finding one's ideal partner to establish a God-centered family. It concludes with a prayer and well wishes for the week.
The document is a summary of a sermon given on the Beatitudes from the Gospel of Matthew. It discusses each of the nine Beatitudes that Jesus taught, relating them to Divine Principle teachings. For each Beatitude, it provides biblical context and an explanation of what Jesus meant in light of the Principle. The overall message is that through understanding the Principle, we can grasp Jesus' true meaning when he promised nine kinds of blessings to those who live according to his teachings.
The document provides scriptural evidence from both the Old and New Testaments to support key claims of the Divine Principle, including that:
1. The Fall of Man was sexual in nature, as hinted at in passages like Genesis 3:7 and Psalm 51:7.
2. Jesus came primarily to be accepted and establish a Holy Family through marriage and children, as was prophesied, before his death, as acceptance was necessary for salvation according to John 6:29.
3. There will be a New Adam and Eve, like Jesus, who will fulfill the mission of creating a sinless Holy Family and establishing God's Kingdom on Earth, as passages like Joel 2:28 and John 16:
The document discusses the life and purpose of Jesus Christ and Dr. Sun Myung Moon. It provides background on their births and missions to establish the foundations for a new heaven and new earth. It also references spiritual laws, principles, and the providence to establish God's kingdom.
This document discusses numerology and its relation to divine principles and scripture. Some key points:
1. Numbers are said to have a metaphysical existence and were important in ancient cultures like Greece. The Bible also emphasizes certain numbers like 40.
2. Divine Principle texts explain that numbers represent spiritual concepts - like 3 representing God as the unity of dual characteristics. All things grow through 3 stages according to mathematical principles.
3. Certain numbers hold providential meaning and are periods of indemnity - like the number 4 representing restoring the four position foundation or 40 representing separation from Satan. Restoring these numbers is necessary to establish the foundation of faith.
This document discusses the difference between cults and religions. It notes that early Christianity, Islam, and other major religions were initially regarded as cults. It suggests that the real difference between a cult and religion is about 100 years - once a group survives for multiple generations, it is considered a religion rather than a cult. The document provides historical examples and argues that groups must moderate behaviors and beliefs to survive across generations within a society. It cautions against accusing other religious groups of being cults when they are reasonably decent and function as citizens.
Un Jin Moon gave a sermon about the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. He discussed how Jesus gave Peter the keys to bind and loose on earth and heaven. True Father then explained the providence to establish home churches and tribal messiahship in order to restore what Jesus could not fulfill and realize the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. He emphasized living for others and experiencing the Kingdom of God internally through love of God and neighbor.
The Book of Ruth is included in the third division, or the Writings, of the Hebrew Bible. In most Christian canons it is treated as one of the historical books and placed between Judges and 1 Samuel.

A375 Example Taste the taste of the Lord, the taste of the Lord The taste of...franktsao4
It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

The Enchantment and Shadows_ Unveiling the Mysteries of Magic and Black Magic...Phoenix O
This manual will guide you through basic skills and tasks to help you get started with various aspects of Magic. Each section is designed to be easy to follow, with step-by-step instructions.
2. Martin Buber
1878 - 1965
Austrian-born Israeli Jewish philosopher best known for his
philosophy of dialogue, a form of existentialism centered on the
distinction between the I–Thou relationship
and the I–It relationship.
3. I and Thou – Martin Buber
In “I and Thou,” Buber describes two kinds of relationships,
the “I-It”, and the “I-Thou”. The I-It relationship is one
based on detachment from others and involves a utilitarian
approach, in which one uses another as an object.
In contrast, in an I-Thou relationship, each person fully and
equally turns toward the other with openness and ethical
engagement.
This kind of relationship is characterized by dialogue and
by “total presentness.” In an I-Thou relationship, each
participant is concerned for the other person. The honor of
the other–and not just her usefulness–is of paramount
importance.
4. The ethical response of the I-Thou relationship is central to
Buber’s understanding of God.
For Buber, God is the “Eternal Thou.” God is the only Thou
which can never become an It. In other words, while
relationships with other people will inevitably have
utilitarian elements, in a genuine relationship with God,
God cannot be used as a means towards an end.
5. In addition, according to Buber, our relationship with God
serves as the foundation for our I-Thou relationships with
all others, and every I-Thou relationship–be it with a
person or thing–involves a meeting with God.
God, in a sense, is the unifying context, the meeting place,
for all meaningful human experience.
According to Buber, one encounters God through one’s
encounters with other human beings and the world. “Meet
the world with the fullness of your being and you shall
meet God.”
6. Blessed are the Peacemakers - link
While serving in Africa, Albert Schweitzer continued to write
books and letters. Through his letters he maintained a network
of influential friends and supporters in Europe and America.
For example, over the years, he maintained an extensive
correspondence with Martin Buber, Albert Einstein, Bertrand
Russell, Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and many other
influential leaders and intellectuals.
8. Give and Take Action,
and the Four Position Foundation
Give and Take Action,
and the Four Position Foundation
In the created universe, the dual characteristics that make up each being are
empowered by universal prime energy to establish a common base. They then
engage in give and take action. Based on the forces generated by this give and
take action, the dual characteristics construct a foundation for their continued
reciprocation. This becomes the foundation for the existence of each individual
being, upon which the being becomes an object partner to God and is able to
generate all forces necessary for its continued existence.
9. The human body maintains its life through the give and take actions between
arteries and veins, inhalation and exhalation, sympathetic and parasympathetic
nerves, and so forth. The give and take action between mind and body enables
an individual to carry out activities which further the purpose of life.
The give and take actions between husband and wife in a family, among
people in a society, between the government and citizens in a nation, and
among the nations of the world are essential for them to live together in
harmony and peace.
10. Christianity is a religion of love. It strives through love and sacrifice to
open the path to restore the horizontal relationships of give and receive
between people in the love of Christ.
On this horizontal foundation of love, the way is opened to restore our
vertical relationship of give and take with God.
In truth, this was the main purpose of all the teachings and deeds of
Jesus.
11. The Three Great Kingships are vertically-oriented.
(1) Children's kingship: children represent the future.
(2) Parents' kingship:
parents represent the present.
(3) Grandparents' kingship:
grandparents represent
the past, spiritual world and God.
12. B. The Four (Five) Great Heart Realms are horizontal.
1. C: Children's Heart Realm: Filial Love. Children's love.
Children's responsibility

Wife Heart Realms
16. B. A Fifth Great Heart Realm. (Suggestion)
5. GP: Grand-Parental Heart Realm:
Grand-Parental love between Grandparents and
grandchildren.
17. 1. Children
Through vertical unity with their parents, children can be
helpful for God's love, parental love, conjugal love, and
brotherly-sisterly love.
To let children have concern for an dialogue with things,
people and issues greater than themselves.
To let them treat others' (things, people, issues) as their own.
To let children understand that they are the foundation of the
family.
18. 2. For brothers and sisters
To totally explain parental love, conjugal love and children's
love.
To let them embrace all human beings as their own brothers
and sisters.
To let them understand that they are the representatives of the
entire horizontal world.
To let them cherish the life of giving and the life for the sake of
others (the more they give, the more they nicely grow).
To let them horizontally grow and prepare to be the spouse of
another.
19. 3. For husband and wife
To let them understand that conjugal love is
the second stage of three kings of love:
children's love
conjugal love
parental love
(the three cannot be practiced separately
but must be linked together).
A couple is the total virtue of heaven and earth, which means
the unity of east and west, south and north, up and down, front
and back.
By total harmonization with God's vertical love, a couple
becomes the terminal of vertical love, and then the couple can
occupy the parental position representing God.
20. 4. For Parents
Parental love means the completion of the ideal kingdom on
earth by combining children's love, brotherly-sisterly love,
conjugal love and by then becoming second creators, and by
multiplying children.
By expanding the ideal family on earth, parents become
vertically the first ancestors, and by accomplishing their
responsibility they can establish kingship.
By the total virtue of heaven and earth, kingship on earth and
in heaven can be accomplished.
21. God - origin-
Parents - division-
Family - union action
Fathers/Mothers Love
We could add the vertical Kingships between Grandparents
and Grandchildren. Almost all people without exception sais
the greatest love they experienced is as being Grandparents
or grandchildren!
Grandparents Love
Grandchildrens Love
Husbands/Wives Love
Brothers/Sisters Love
Sons/Daughters Love
23. No matter how devout a believer may be, he cannot attain
physical salvation through redemption by the cross of Jesus.
His original sin, which has been passed down through the
lineage from Adam, is not eliminated at its root.
Even the most devout Christian still has the original sin and
gives birth to children who also carry the original sin.
24. In our personal faith, we may feel it necessary to mortify and
deny our flesh in our efforts to prevent the intrusion of Satan,
who continually tries to ensnare us through our bodies.
We are taught to "pray constantly" (I Thess. 5:17) that we
might remove the conditions by which Satan can attack us;
these conditions stem from the original sin,
which was not eradicated despite salvation
through redemption by the cross.
25. Jesus could not fulfill the goal of complete salvation, both
spiritual and physical, because his body was struck down by
Satan.
However, Jesus laid the basis for spiritual salvation by
securing the victorious foundation for his resurrection through
the redemption by his blood on the cross. As a result,
all believers since his resurrection have received the benefit of
spiritual salvation, but not physical salvation.
26. Salvation through redemption by the cross is spiritual salvation
only. The original sin remains active in the flesh of even the
most devout Christians and is transmitted through the lineage
to their descendants.
The more fervent a believer's faith, the more fiercely he must
fight against the sin within.
We who receive salvation based on Jesus' crucifixion
cannot unshackle ourselves from the chains of sin,
due to the original sin still active deep within us.
27. Therefore, to uproot the original sin, which he could not
remove through the crucifixion, and to complete the work of
physical salvation, Jesus must come again on earth.
Only then will the purpose of God's work of salvation be
fulfilled both spiritually and physically.
