This document provides an introduction and overview of the Cham Bumo Gyeong (CBG), one of the three main scriptures of the Unification movement. 3. Introduction Cham Bumo Gyeong
This is, I really believe, a treasure.
True Mother said, before she published
the Cheon Il Guk scriptures,
“I really want to make True Father’s speeches and messages
a treasure, polish them again and publish them for the sake
of humankind, as
the jewel of jewels, treasure of treasures.”
We already have the Cheon Seong Gyeong and
Pyeong Hwa Gyeong;
now we are doing the Cham Bumo Gyeong.

4. True Mother said, The Cham Bumo Gyeong is
the most crucial scripture among the three scriptures.
Whoever reads this book, the Cham Bumo Gyeong,
truly understands
True Parents’ life,
True Parents’ teachings,
True Parents’ mission and
how True Parents completed their mission.

5. Sample of text:
Exposition of Divine Principle is not all I have to say.
Before I would be able to say more,
first you would need to know what I have said and
where I said it, and
put it into practise,
but you are not even doing that.
Exposition of Divine Principle does not speak of me.
What Exposition of Divine Principle explains is
only things up until Jesus.
It focuses on Jesus.

6. And Jesus said, Who touched me?
When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said,
Teacher, the multitude throng you and press you, and

Building a following
After arriving in Pyeongyang on June 6 1946,
True Father took a room in Gyeongchang-ri and began
his church work with prayer and devotion.
At the time in Pyeonyang there were still many
Christian churches and devout Christian believers.

7. Though many of them looked at True Father with
unfriendly glares, he still sought new followers with
the conviction that he would convey the Word to save
even one life. Many were the times that he looked out
of the door with anticipation as he waited for these new
church members to come.
Some people found their own way where True Father was,
and later they brought other Christian believers to him.
True Father held church services for those people.
In particular after True Father's arrival, some people
began receiving revelations about him.

8. These devout believers found him through the guidance
of those in the spirit world.
Many of those who came had been long prepared for the
coming of True Father, and among them were people
who had been prepared to receive True Father from
men before he was born.
The spirit world transcends time and space, and the
connections of the world of the heart are linked in
mysterious and profound ways.

9. The people who had thus become connected to
True Father were so overwhelmed by true love
that when they so much as touched the hem of
his clothes, they felt as if they were floating on
air and could dance for sheer joy.

came to see him, whether old or young.

10. And yet you think that the only thing you need to place
importance on is Exposition of Divine Principle.
With all their hearts, members of the Unification Chirch should
follow what I say, empathize with me, and be so moved by my
life that they fulfill their responsibility as the standard-
bearers who create tomorrows history.
If you lack such a heart, you will not develop.

11. Because humankind fell at the completion level of the growth
stage, the completion stage as a whole still remains. The
completion stage is a seven-year period.
If you add up the number of years in the formation, growth
and completion stages, 7 years each, it comes to 21 years,
roughly 20 years. When a person is 20 years old, which is 21
by Korean reckoning, they enter the period of maturity and
should be married in God's love.

12. Adam and Eve should have received God's blessing and
obtained recognition as the True Parents of humanity, but
they failed to accomplish this. They married without
permission while still immature and did not begin the
completion stage.
In short, one year was prolonged to 1,000 years, and seven
years to 7,000 years. We are indemnifying this in seven years.
This is the seven-year course.

13. Human beings, who are born as fallen descendants of Adam
and Eve, can never go to heaven unless they walk the seven-
year restoration course.
It is not spoken of in the Bible, but Jesus also traveled such a
course, the seven-year period from when he was 27 to when
he was 33.
The period from age 34 to 40 would have been his second
seven-year course.

14. In this way, Jesus could have established the worldwide
foundation by age 40.
However, because the people did not accept him and he died,
that period remains in the Bible as seven years of great
calamity and disturbance.

16. The Marriage Supper of the Lamb prophesied in
Chapter 19 of the Book of Revelation was realized
through the Holy Wedding of the True Parents. (1960)
It was the fulfillment of the Book of Revelation,
whereby Adam and Eve, whose fall from grace is
recorded in the Book of Genesis, were recovered.

17. On the basis of the Holy Wedding of the True Parents,
restoration through indemnity could proceed beyond
the top of the growth stage in the growing period —
the level at which Adam and Eve fell and became the
false parents — and beyond the point at which Jesus
faced the disbelief of the chosen people of Israel and
was made to shoulder the cross.
