The highest ranks are Seraphim, Cherubim, and Thrones, who are in the direct presence of God. Lower ranks include Dominions, Virtues, and Powers, who have leadership and administrative roles. Principalities care for nations and places. Archangels bring God's messages and will to humanity. Angels are the lowest rank and interact most with humans, serving as guardians and messengers.
This document discusses spiritual warfare between angels and demons. It summarizes that Lucifer, a high-ranking cherub angel, rebelled against God and was cast out of heaven along with 1/3 of the angels. Some angels also took human wives in ancient times, becoming the first demons. Now, believers face spiritual battles against these fallen angels led by Satan, though Christ has won the ultimate victory. The end times may bring increased demonic activity to oppose God's people and turn people away from Him until Christ returns.

God reveals himself to humanity through scripture and creation. The Bible tells of God creating the world and humans, with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden until the fall. God promises a redeemer. Angels were also created to serve God, with some like Lucifer rebelling. God establishes covenants with humanity, first with Abraham and his descendants, and the Israelites face slavery in Egypt until God sends Moses to free them, beginning their journey as God's chosen people.
God created angels as spirits to serve and praise Him. The three archangels are Gabriel, Michael, and Raphael. Gabriel delivers important messages, Michael leads God's armies against evil, and Raphael helps with healing. Satan was originally the highest angel Lucifer but rebelled against God due to pride. God created humans, Adam and Eve, and placed them in the Garden of Eden with the Tree of Life and the forbidden Tree of Knowledge. Satan tempted Eve to eat its fruit, causing her and Adam to disobey God and be expelled from the garden.
The document discusses evidence for the identity of Jesus Christ. It examines his claims to be the Messiah and Son of God, as well as prophecies about the Messiah from the Old Testament that Jesus fulfilled. The document also considers Jesus' miracles and the strongest evidence for his resurrection, which is the empty tomb and eyewitness accounts from over 500 people. The resurrection is the most important fact because it validates Jesus' identity and provides hope of eternal life. Non-Christian sources like Josephus and Tacitus also corroborate the basic facts about Jesus. The document analyzes alternative theories for the resurrection but finds them inadequate. Overall, it argues the historical evidence points to Jesus being the promised Messiah.
Christ Greater Than The Angels by John MacArthurBerean Guide
This document discusses angels according to the Bible and Jewish tradition. It begins by describing what angels are based on biblical passages - spiritual beings that can appear human but lack flesh and bones. It then discusses Jewish beliefs about angels that had developed, such as their roles and organization in heaven. The document aims to show from scripture that Jesus is greater than angels, using passages that call Him God's Son, worthy of worship, divine in nature, eternal, and exalted. It seeks to persuade Jews that Christ is the mediator of a new and better covenant than that brought by angels in the Old Testament.
This document discusses different interpretations of the creation account in Genesis. It presents the views of young earth creationism, which interprets the six days of creation literally, and old earth views, which see the days as longer periods of time. It outlines the standard six-day creation view and ideal-time interpretation within young earth views. It also discusses objections to young earth interpretations and considerations for old earth positions like progressive creationism.
This document discusses various religious and supernatural concepts including:
- Superstitions and old wives' tales being irrational beliefs not based on reason.
- Parallel universes depicting heaven, earth, and hell with different beings inhabiting each place.
- Descriptions of angels in different hierarchies such as seraphim, cherubim, thrones, dominations, virtues and more.
- The concept of Purgatory in Catholicism as a state of purification for souls not sufficiently free from sin before entering heaven.
- Mentioning of figures associated with hell such as Lucifer, Belberith, Douma, and exorcisms performed to expel possessing spirits.
This document discusses the authorship and interpretation of Genesis 1. It affirms some of John Walton's statements about Genesis 1 being communicated in familiar language and not making scientific claims, but argues his view creates a false dichotomy. The document asserts Genesis 1 is about both material creation and deeper concepts. It presents evidence that God himself was the narrator of Genesis 1-2 based on references in the New Testament. The document argues for understanding Genesis 1 as narrative history written for ancient audiences like Adam and Eve, not as an encoded message. It claims the classical interpretation of Genesis 1 is most consistent with the Bible and resisting modern cultural influences is important for proper interpretation.
The document is a sermon on Hebrews 1 that makes the following main points:
1) Hebrews 1 establishes Jesus as superior to angels, showing through 7 descriptions and Old Testament quotes that he is God's Son and heir.
2) Angels are powerful spiritual beings that serve God and humanity, but Jesus vastly outranks them.
3) The sermon encourages focusing worship and faith on Jesus as the fulfillment of God's revelation and means of salvation.
A Defense of Christian Theology: Answering the hardest questions. The Problem of Hell, the Problem of Predestination and the Problem of Pain and Suffering. A presentation given by John Oakes first in Manila 1/17/2010.
1) The document examines Hebrews 1, which discusses Jesus's superiority to angels as the Son of God.
2) It provides 7 descriptions of Jesus from Hebrews 1 that show His deity, including being the heir of all things and sustaining all things by His powerful word.

Power Point on Christianity and World Religions (theology and world view)evidenceforchristianity
This document provides an overview and comparison of several major world religions, including Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, Taoism, Ba'hai, and New Age. It discusses the theology, views of God, place of man in the world, and sources of authority for each religion. Key differences between Islamic and Christian theology on salvation are noted, with Islam viewing salvation as earned through good works and effort for the preselected, while Christianity sees it as a free gift of God's grace.
This document discusses different strategies for using apologetics in Christian outreach. It begins by defining apologetics as defending or making a case for the Christian faith. It then examines how the early church used apologetics in the Book of Acts to change the world. Specifically, it notes that the early Christians (1) knew Jesus personally, (2) made powerful truth claims about Jesus, and (3) lived ethically superior lives. The document then discusses engaging intellectually with the world by addressing questions about Christianity's truth claims and comparing the Christian worldview to other views. It analyzes episodes from Acts where Paul uses apologetics and examines how Christians can follow this approach today.
This document discusses several arguments regarding whether the Bible can be trusted and believed. It addresses five propositions: 1) That the Bible is scientifically unsupported and probably insupportable. It provides counter arguments to this from Genesis and Hebrews. 2) That Christianity is philosophically suspect. It argues that Christian philosophy gives a more realistic view of reality than naturalism or postmodernism. 3) That Christianity is historically fraudulent. It provides several archaeological examples that confirm the historicity of the Bible. 4) That the Bible contains myths. It acknowledges this is true but explains that the Bible contains true myths like other religious texts of the time. 5) That the Bible contains contradictions. It provides several alleged contradictions but does not resolve them in

The Bible describes angels as powerful spiritual beings whom God created to perform specific jobs both in heaven and on earth. And although the Bible often mentions a “host” of angels, it only names a few.
This document provides a summary of spiritual warfare between angels and demons in ancient times and their potential connection to the end times. It discusses the hierarchy of angels like seraphs, cherubs, and archangels. It describes how Lucifer rebelled and became Satan after losing a battle with Michael. Fallen angels are said to have mated with human women, producing giants, and to have influenced great wickedness before the flood. The days of Noah are cited as an example of conditions that will exist again before Christ's return, when demonic activity and deception will be rampant.

The seven rays represent seven attributes of God that are brought to Earth by archangels and their female counterparts, the archeiai. Each ray corresponds to a color of the rainbow and a different quality: blue for power, yellow for wisdom, pink for love, white for purity, green for healing, purple and gold for service, and violet for forgiveness. These rays are said to influence human development and help people understand their life purpose. Angels are believed to spread God's message of love through the qualities of the seven rays.

Angels are divine beings that serve God and carry out his commands. They are not deceased humans, but were created separately before humans. While often depicted as cute or feminine, angels actually possess great power as agents of God. One angel destroyed Sennacherib's army and the firstborn of Egypt. Guardian angels protect believers. There is only one archangel mentioned in the Bible - Jesus Christ, who leads the angelic hosts and will raise the dead at his second coming.
Angels are spiritual beings created by God to serve Him and carry out His will. While they do not have physical bodies, angels are able to appear in human form. The Bible describes several encounters where angels appeared as humans. Angels do not marry, die, or have limited knowledge. They are eternal spiritual beings not bound by human experiences. Some angels are described as having wings and able to fly. Overall, angels exist to worship God and assist in carrying out His work.
The document discusses the spiritual climate prior to the biblical flood known as the days of Noah. It describes how fallen angels mated with human women, resulting in offspring of nephilim giants. These giants, along with mankind, were extremely wicked and violent. God saw that the thoughts of man's heart were only evil continually, grieving his heart, so he decided to destroy mankind except for Noah, who remained righteous. The document explores key words and concepts from Genesis 6 regarding the sons of God, daughters of men, and the giants. It references extra-biblical texts like the Book of Enoch to provide more context and support for this interpretation of events in the days of Noah.
The document provides an outline and overview of the book of Revelation and apocalyptic literature. It discusses key characteristics of apocalyptic writing including symbolic imagery, numbers, and colors. The document discusses how scientific evidence points to the existence of God and supports the biblical account of creation. It notes how the universe is finely tuned with precise physical constants and improbably conditions that allowed for life. Quotes from scientists acknowledge how the evidence unexpectedly aligns with the biblical description of creation. The document concludes that both the astronomical and biblical accounts describe the world as suddenly beginning at a definite moment in time through God's creative act.

This document discusses 5 common myths about angels and demons. It summarizes that while angels and demons are powerful spiritual beings, they are finite creatures created by God and not eternal or all-powerful like God. It also argues that passages like Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28 that are sometimes used to describe Satan's fall actually refer to human kings being compared metaphorically to spiritual powers, not Satan himself. The document aims to dispel misconceptions and clarify what the Bible does and does not say about the nature and limitations of angels and demons.
This document discusses the spiritual and symbolic significance of the number five in various spiritual traditions. It provides examples of how the number five represents concepts like the five elements, the five-pointed star, manifestations of the divine in five phases, and classifications of the Tree of Life into five worlds. Here are introduction the the Divine Principle view.
Wolli Wonbon is an early manuscript of the Divine Principle written by Sun Myung Moon in 1951-1952 while living as a refugee in Pusan, South Korea. It contains almost 700 pages covering all aspects of the Divine Principle in a condensed form. While difficult to understand for ordinary people, it laid the foundation and roadmap for Moon's teachings. There is ongoing work to translate Wolli Wonbon into English to make it more accessible. It provides important insights into early understandings of theological concepts like the cross, God as both Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother, and the mission of Jesus and the Second Coming.

It summarizes various prophecies from the Old Testament, New Testament, Korean prophecies from the Chung Gam Nok text, and prophecies of Nostradamus. It discusses how these prophecies foretold the appearance of the Messiah in Korea and the establishment of God's kingdom on earth. The document also references how spiritual figures like Sundar Singh, Swedenborg, and others supported the idea of the Second Coming and resurrection of the body.
The document is a collection of quotes from Sun Myung Moon about the relationship between God and humanity. It discusses how human beings were created to be temples for God to dwell in. It says had Adam and Eve not fallen, God would live in our hearts and we would express God through our senses. It also talks about how Jesus came as the perfect temple for God and how through attaining perfection, one can become a temple where God's spirit lives. The quotes explore how God needs a physical form to manifest and rule over creation, and how through love, the spiritual and physical can be united.
This document provides a glossary of Korean spiritual terms used in the Unification movement. It defines abbreviations and short vocabulary for important texts, locations, and concepts. Key terms explained include Cheon Il Guk, the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, True Parents as the representatives of God, and the goal of establishing a world of peace under the heavenly parent. The document traces the origins and meanings behind the movement's terminology and emphasizes their significance for realizing God's ideal of one family under God.
Sermon DP & Beatitudes Part 2of2 - True Family - Owner of Peace & LineageBengt & Maarit de Paulis
The sermon discusses the Beatitudes from the Bible and their relationship to Divine Principle teachings. It provides quotes from Rev. Sun Myung Moon's speeches comparing the Old Testament commandments to Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. The sermon encourages living for the sake of others and finding one's ideal partner to establish a God-centered family. It concludes with a prayer and well wishes for the week.
The document is a summary of a sermon given on the Beatitudes from the Gospel of Matthew. It discusses each of the nine Beatitudes that Jesus taught, relating them to Divine Principle teachings. For each Beatitude, it provides biblical context and an explanation of what Jesus meant in light of the Principle. The overall message is that through understanding the Principle, we can grasp Jesus' true meaning when he promised nine kinds of blessings to those who live according to his teachings.
The document provides scriptural evidence from both the Old and New Testaments to support key claims of the Divine Principle, including that:
1. The Fall of Man was sexual in nature, as hinted at in passages like Genesis 3:7 and Psalm 51:7.
2. Jesus came primarily to be accepted and establish a Holy Family through marriage and children, as was prophesied, before his death, as acceptance was necessary for salvation according to John 6:29.
3. There will be a New Adam and Eve, like Jesus, who will fulfill the mission of creating a sinless Holy Family and establishing God's Kingdom on Earth, as passages like Joel 2:28 and John 16:
The document discusses the life and purpose of Jesus Christ and Dr. Sun Myung Moon. It provides background on their births and missions to establish the foundations for a new heaven and new earth. It also references spiritual laws, principles, and the providence to establish God's kingdom.
This document discusses numerology and its relation to divine principles and scripture. Some key points:
1. Numbers are said to have a metaphysical existence and were important in ancient cultures like Greece. The Bible also emphasizes certain numbers like 40.
2. Divine Principle texts explain that numbers represent spiritual concepts - like 3 representing God as the unity of dual characteristics. All things grow through 3 stages according to mathematical principles.
3. Certain numbers hold providential meaning and are periods of indemnity - like the number 4 representing restoring the four position foundation or 40 representing separation from Satan. Restoring these numbers is necessary to establish the foundation of faith.
This document discusses the difference between cults and religions. It notes that early Christianity, Islam, and other major religions were initially regarded as cults. It suggests that the real difference between a cult and religion is about 100 years - once a group survives for multiple generations, it is considered a religion rather than a cult. The document provides historical examples and argues that groups must moderate behaviors and beliefs to survive across generations within a society. It cautions against accusing other religious groups of being cults when they are reasonably decent and function as citizens.
Un Jin Moon gave a sermon about the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. He discussed how Jesus gave Peter the keys to bind and loose on earth and heaven. True Father then explained the providence to establish home churches and tribal messiahship in order to restore what Jesus could not fulfill and realize the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. He emphasized living for others and experiencing the Kingdom of God internally through love of God and neighbor.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

4. Introduction
• This is an attempt to collect some of what
the Bible and
Divine Principle
and True Father has spoken about Angels.
• Included some folklore from the Unif. movement.
You decide what’s true.
5.
6. Background
• The word angel in English is a blend of Old English engel
(with a hard g) and Old French angele. Both derive from
Late Latin angelus "messenger of God", which in turn was
borrowed from Late Greek γγελος ángelos. According toἄ
R. S. P. Beekes, ángelos itself may be "an Oriental loan,
like γγαρος ['Persian mounted courier']."ἄ
• Angels, in a variety of religions, are regarded as spirits.
They are often depicted as messengers of God in the
Hebrew and Christian Bibles and the Quran.
7. • Daniel is the first biblical figure to refer to individual angels
by name, mentioning Gabriel (God's primary messenger)
in Daniel 9:21 and Michael (the holy fighter) in
Daniel 10:13.
These angels are part of Daniel's apocalyptic visions and
are an important part of all apocalyptic literature
8. Orthodox icon from Saint Catherine's Monastery,
representing the archangels Michael and Gabriel.
Along with Rafael counted as archangels of Jews, Christians and Muslims.
9. • The conception of angels is best understood in contrast to
demons and is often thought to be "influenced by the
ancient Persian religious tradition of Zoroastrianism, which
viewed the world as a battleground between forces of
good and forces of evil, between light and
darkness." One of these "sons of God" is "the satan",

• Mormons trace their origins to the visions that
Joseph Smith reported having in the early 1820s
while living in upstate New York.

16. Angels in the Clouds
In the theological writings of Emanuel Swedenborg
he describes heaven as consisting of a luxuriant
landscape based on the inner qualities and richness
of a person’s heart and mind, that is, one’s inner
and spiritual reality.
The flora of heaven corresponded to our thoughts
and the fauna to our loves and affections.
17. Angels in the Clouds
In other words, Heaven was not a place you go to,
but something you become (from following God’s tenets).
This made sense to me because Jesus claimed that
the kingdom of heaven is within us (Luke 17:20).
The only way heaven could be “within” is if it represents
our deepest values and life choices.
/The Good Guy, Swedenborgian
18. Comment: While some traditions see angels as a
supernatural class of beings, Swedenborg declares that
every angel was once a human being living on earth.
All people on earth have the potential to become angels,
regardless of where they are from or what religion they practice.
Swedenborg emphasizes that we are all born for heaven;
if we don’t end up there, it is because of the choices that
we make in life.
19. Comment: The Divine Principle does not agree
with this Swedenborg view.
Instead confirms the traditional biblical view that
Angels were created as spiritual beings (separate from man),
and never having any physical body.
”All beings were created by God.
The angels were no exception.
God created the angelic world before anything else.
Genesis 1:26 records the story of creation:
´Let us make man in our image, after our likeness´,
putting the first person in the plural.
He was speaking to the angels, who had been created
before man (Gen. 1:26).” /DP Fall of Man Sect. II,1

Angels and DP
32. • There are many records in the Bible of the
providence centered on the number "three":
the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit),
the three stages in Paradise,
the three archangels, (Lucifer, Gabriel and Michael)
…
• Man reaches perfection only after having acquired
the ability to rule the rest of creation, including the angels
DP73 1.1
Principle of Creation
33. • Through the spirit man we can communicate
directly with God and have dominion over the
invisible world, including the angels.
Comment: St Paul said
”Do you not know that we will judge angels?
How much more the things of this life! 1 Cor. 6:3
DP73 1.1
Principle of Creation
34. The position of the True Parents cannot be
established without the restoration of the 3 children
whom Adam had lost.
That is why Jesus absolutely needed his 3 disciples.
/CBG p. 79
35. Sometime after their creation, and most certainly
after the sixth day when everything was declared
“very good” (Genesis 1:31), Satan rebelled and was
cast out of heaven. “How you have fallen from heaven,
O morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth, you who once
laid low the nations!” (Isaiah 14:12).
Fall of Angels
36. When Lucifer sinned, Jesus said, “I saw Satan fall like
lightning from heaven” (Luke 10:18), and in the book of
the Revelation Satan is seen as “a star that had fallen
from the sky to the earth” (Revelation 9:1).
We are also told that one third of an
“innumerable company of angels” (Hebrews 12:22)
chose to rebel with him.
Fall of Angels
37. John saw this great wonder in heaven, “…an enormous
red dragon…His tail swept a third of the stars
out of the sky and flung them to the earth…
the great dragon was hurled down — that ancient
serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the
whole world astray.
He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him”
(Revelation 12:3-9).
Fall of Angels
38. Fallen Angels
What kind of spiritual being in God’s creation
could have conversed with people, understood
the Will of God, and lived in heaven?
DP
39. Fallen Angels
What kind of spiritual being in God’s creation
could have conversed with people, understood
the Will of God, and lived in heaven?
What kind of being, even after it had fallen and
become degraded to an evil being, could transcend
time and space to dominate the human soul?
DP
41. Fallen Angels
There are no beings endowed with such
characteristics other than angels.
The verse “God did not spare the angels when
they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed
them to pits of nether gloom” supports the conclusion
that the serpent, which tempted human beings and
sinned, is an angel.
/Divine Principle Ch.2

42. The 3 archangels were not united in obedience
to and attendance of Adam and Eve.
As a result, the world became fallen.
That is why Jesus had to restore 3 disciples
in order to stand in the position of the True Parent.
Likewise, the Lord at the Second Advent also must
have 3 spiritual children who absolutely obey him.
Otherwise, he cannot stand in the position of
the True Parent - This is the formula.

and dissolved and the elements will melt with fire
(II Peter 3:12);
that the sun will be darkened and
the moon will not give its light and the stars will
fall from heaven (Matt. 24:29);
and that with the archangel's call and with the sound
of the trumpet of God, the dead in Christ will rise first,
and those who are alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord
in the air (I Thess. 4:16-17).

OF HUMAN HISTORY
46.
47. • Especially concerning the birth of John the Baptist,
all the Jews knew that the angel appeared to testify
to his conception (Luke 1:13); and the signs which
occurred at the time of his birth stirred all Judea in
expectation (Luke 1:63-66)
• Jesus would come upon the throne of David and
establish a kingdom that would never perish throughout
eternity. Therefore, an angel appeared to Mary at the
time she conceived Jesus…
DP73 1.4
ADVENT OF
THE MESSIAH
48. If Jesus had not been crucified, what would have
happened? He would have accomplished the
providence of salvation both spiritually and physically.
He would have established the Kingdom of Heaven on
earth which would last forever, as expressed in the
prophecy of Isaiah (Is. 9:6-7), in the instruction of the
angel appearing to Mary (Luke 1:31-33), and in Jesus'
own words announcing the imminence of the
Kingdom of Heaven (Matt. 4:17).
DP73 1.4
ADVENT OF
THE MESSIAH
49. When we read the Bible anew with a knowledge
of the Principle, we can understand that, just as the
prophet Isaiah foretold in the Old Testament Age
(Is. 9, 11, 60), and as the angel of God prophesied
to Mary, Jesus was expected to become king of the
Jews in his lifetime and establish on earth an
everlasting kingdom of which "there will be no end"
(Luke 1:31-33).
DP73 1.4
ADVENT OF
THE MESSIAH
50. John was born to a distinguished family as a son
of Zechariah, a chief priest (Luke 1:13).
His birth greatly surprised the whole city because
of the miracles and signs surrounding his conception.
His father, burning incense in the holy place, saw the
angel of the Lord, who announced that his wife would
conceive a son.
Upon disbelieving the angel's words, Zechariah was
struck dumb, and his speech was restored only upon
the birth of the child (Luke 1:9-66).
DP73 1.4
ADVENT OF
THE MESSIAH
51.
52. In what manner evil spirit men can be resurrected
through their second coming.
In Matthew 25:41, we read about the cursed, who are
liable to the eternal fire prepared for the "devil and his
angels".
The "angels" of the devil means the evil spirit men
working under the control of the devil.
DP73 1.5
RESURRECTION
53. The spiritual creatures commonly called "ghosts",
whose real nature has not been known, are none
other than such evil spirit men.
These evil spirits also gain the benefit of the age by
descending on earthly men.
DP73 1.5
RESURRECTION
55. Who must set up the condition of indemnity?
As already clarified in the principle of creation,
man originally was to dominate even the angels,
after having perfected himself by fulfilling his own
portion of responsibility.
DP73
PART II
INTRODUCTION
56. The period for the completion of the providence
of restoration after the Second Advent is the period
in which the saints, both on earth and in heaven,
should complete the providence of restoration by
taking the third responsibility of making Satan,
the fallen angel, surrender according to the principle
of creation that man was made originally to dominate
even the angels.
DP73
PART II
INTRODUCTION
57. The first act of the fall was that in which
she had the relationship with the archangel,
who was not her spouse in the Principle,
out of the excessive desire to enjoy what it was
not yet time for her to enjoy; that is, to become like God,
with her eyes opened (Gen. 3:5).
The archangel fell by failing to love Adam,
whom God loved more
Next, the archangel fell because he failed to receive
God's love through Adam, who was closer to God,
as the mediator.
DP73
PART II
PROVIDENTIAL
AGE FOR THE
FOUNDATION
OF RESTORATION
58. The archangel intended to take Adam's
position instead.
Therefore, the fallen nature of not keeping
one's position came about.
Consequently, in order to remove this fallen
nature, Cain, who was in the position of the
archangel, should have taken the position to
receive God's love through Abel, who was in
the position of Adam, as the mediator, so that
he might be able to keep his position.
DP73
PART II
PROVIDENTIAL
AGE FOR THE
FOUNDATION
OF RESTORATION
59. The archangel conveyed to Eve the will
of unrighteousness that the fruit could be taken
and eaten, then Eve conveyed this to Adam,
thus causing the human fall.
Cain killed Abel, repeating the original fallen nature
through which the archangel caused man to fall,
and thus Adam's family failed to set up the foundation
of substance which was to be established then.
Consequently, the providence of restoration centering
on Adam's family ended in failure.
DP73
PART II
PROVIDENTIAL
AGE FOR THE
FOUNDATION
OF RESTORATION
60. By Cain's killing Abel, they fell again into
the same state as the archangel and Eve
when they fell.
Therefore, the substantial offering was a failure.
What did God foreshadow by sending from the ark
a raven (Gen. 8:6-7) which flew about until the water
subsided?
DP73
PART II
PROVIDENTIAL
AGE FOR THE
FOUNDATION
OF RESTORATION
61. This indicated that Satan crouched at the door of
Noah's family, even after the flood judgment, to spy
on the condition for invasion there, just as the archangel
looked for a chance to win Eve's love right after the
creation of man and just as Satan watched for the
opportunity to invade Cain and Abel when they offered
sacrifices (Gen. 4:7).
DP73
PART II
PROVIDENTIAL
AGE FOR THE
FOUNDATION
OF RESTORATION
62. The archangel took Eve while Adam and
Eve were still in the position of brother and
sister in their immaturity, thus forcing all
created things, as well as their own children,
to be under his dominion.
Jacob restored domination substantially over the
angel by winning in the struggle with him at the ford
of Jabbok, on his way back from Haran to Canaan,
the land promised by God.
DP73
PART II
PROVIDENTIAL
AGE FOR THE
FOUNDATION
OF RESTORATION
63. On his way back form Haran to Canaan
Jacob won in the fight with the angel and
earned the name "Israel" by setting up the
condition of indemnity to restore the dominion
over the angel for the first time, as a fallen man,
since the fall of the first human ancestors.
Thus he could build the basis for the formation
of the chosen nation. (– Israel)

FOUNDATION
OF RESTORATION
64. 24
Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him
until the breaking of day. 25
Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him,
He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob’s
hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him.
26
And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.”
But he said, “I will not let You go unless You bless me!”
66. 27
So He said to him, “What is your name?” He said, “Jacob.”
28
And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob,
but Israel;for you have struggled with God and with men,
and have prevailed.”
29
Then Jacob asked, saying, “Tell me Your name, I pray.”
And He said, “Why is it that you ask about My name?”
And He blessed him there. /Gen 32:22-29
67. Comment: How was it an angel would wrestle with
a man of God. It can only have been satan.
Why was Jacobs thigh bone broken….
Because that was closest to the area that
was transgressed at the Sexual Fall of Man.
The Human Thigh Bone Is Stronger Than Concrete.
69. When his hand was first put into his bosom and it
became leprous, this meant that the archangel first
put Eve into his bosom and men fell into a position
incapable of salvation.
Again the fact that when he put his hand into his
bosom the second time it was healed represented that
Jesus as the father spirit of mankind would come and
restore the Holy Spirit as the mother spirit of mankind .
DP73
PART II
MOSES
JESUS
70. Through the wondrous prediction of the angel
concerning the conception of John the Baptist,
through the miracle of his father's becoming dumb
when he did not believe in this, and through many
other miracles which God showed the Israelites at
the time of John's birth, they knew from the time of
his birth that John was the prophet God had sent to them.
DP73
PART II
MOSES
JESUS
71. Satan set Jesus on the pinnacle of the temple and said,
"If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down." (Matt. 4:5-6)
Jesus answered him saying,
"You shall not tempt the Lord your God." (Matt. 4:7).
Originally angels were created to be dominated by a man
of the original state of creation;
therefore, a fallen angel (satan)
was naturally to be dominated by Jesus. (3 temptations)
DP73
PART II
MOSES
JESUS
72. Jesus answered this, saying, "You shall worship
the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve." (Matt. 4:10).
Originally, an angel was a ministering spirit (Heb. 1:14),
and was supposed to worship and serve God, his Creator.
DP73
PART II
MOSES
JESUS
73. God intended to establish the Kingdom of God on earth,
with His children of direct descent.
However, as discussed in the "Fall of Man", all men, due
to the first human ancestor's blood relationship with the
archangel Lucifer, have become the children of the devil,
inheriting Satan's blood lineage (Matt. 3:7, 23:33, John 8:44).
Thus, the first human ancestors fell into a position in which
they were cut off from the lineage of God, and this is the fall.

76. Jesus Christ
and
The Spiritual World
This is equal to the angel's offering in the spiritual world. That is
why Christians go to paradise instead of heaven in the spiritual
world.
In other words, the spiritual world, dominated by the archangel,
is the realm of the archangel. To go beyond that realm, victory
must be won on earth in the physical world.
That is the will of God. That is the meaning of Jesus' presence
on the earth and the spiritual world.
80. 3rd
Adam
The spirit world could not function until the appearance
of Unification Church. Why?
Because there was no handle to grab;
no rapport was established.
There was no love between the races.
81. 3rd
Adam
There was no one who could prepare the base so that
God could really bring down His hosts of angels.
But now the Unification Church represents that base,
so God can bring down any number of angels or spirit
men He wishes.
82. 3rd
Adam
So far, there have been many, many evil spiritual
phenomena. There are many evil, lost spirits haunting people.
Spirits can also actually cause diseases and accidents.
What is the difference between evil spirits and good spirits?
When an evil spirit approaches, you somehow feel fearful
and uncertain and very unstable.
A satanic spirit is like the winter wind, making you shiver.
83. 3rd
Adam
But when some good spirit is trying to embrace you,
you feel so good without reason!
You'll be walking on Cloud 9!
A heavenly spirit is like spring. It melts you, relaxes you,
and gives you the warmth of love and comfort.
You should feel that in the Unification Church.
84. 3rd
AdamI have been conducting the program of the spirit world
for everything.
I do not talk about how heaven is or how heavenly father is,
and so forth.
I do not talk about them carelessly.
I only talk about them after I have digested them with the truth
and can explain them in some systematic manner.
85. 3rd
Adam
Do you think that I simply listen to the words of some women
or grandmothers, or some spiritual medium? No way.
They are ignorant.
They know how to testify to the present,
but they do not know how things operate. /SMM (68-276)
88. Why does man deal with everything so selfishly?
It's because mankind has a blood relationship
(inherited character) with Satan,
who is the angel that violated heavenly law.
/SMM 1950s
Angels and DP
89. God has been conducting the dispensation
of restoration in which He has tried to forge
a relationship with humans through the angels
so that He can restore this earth, which was defiled.
To seize back His reign over human beings
whom Satan has controlled and accused,
This came to pass through the Old Testament
and the New Testament and is being continued
even today.
/SMM 1956
Angels and DP
90. He had to pioneer the path through which He
can relate with humankind with the assistance
of the angels.
Such is the history of the dispensation of the
Old Testament era.
Through the Israelite people, humankind
gradually pioneered the path through which
they could approach God.
/SMM 1956
Angels and DP
91. In this way, Heaven set the one standard by
which He could work through the angels.
Today, the laborious accomplishments of the
angels who were helpful in providential history
have been left to us in the final days.
Angels and DP
92. God has been seeking a person (Messiah)
who won't be servile towards Satan's blatant
reproaches and sneers and who can stop an
angel in Heaven and not try to push him away
when he comes and who can easily stop
Jesus and the Holy Spirit and not push them
away when they come.
Angels and DP
/SMM 1956
93.
94. Until today, you have failed to possess this kind
of mind-set to create an environment on this earth
in which you can live intoxicated in the glorious
grace of Heaven.
For this reason, until now, God and the angels
have been in the background helping humans
on the earth, inducing them to move toward this
glorious blessing.
Angels and DP
/SMM 1957
95.
96. In this age, you should recognize the spirit world.
The spirit world until today resembles the angelic world.
The Unification Church members' position is the same
as before Adam and Eve fell; that is, we are living in
the realm where Adam and Eve had not fallen.
If we see this realm from the spirit world, it is the same
as the paradise that appears on the earth.
/SMM 1972
Angels and DP
97. 1. You Have To Prepare On The Earth
Once God created Adam, Eve, and the Archangel,
He said it was good.
He meant they shouldn't fight one another.
It is the teaching of religion that
the mind conquers physical desire.
We have to conquer evil to gain goodness.
/SMM 1972
Angels and DP
98. 1. You Have To Prepare On The Earth
We are in an age when we can completely
dominate the spirit world while living on earth.
Do you follow me?
Since I know everything about the spirit world,
have my own body, and have clarified these principles,
not only Satan but the angelic world must completely
surrender to me.
/SMM 1972
Angels and DP
99. Adam was supposed to command the three
archangels, and they were to obey and love
him unconditionally.
But one archangel did not show absolute
obedience and love, and he knows he cannot
always get his way.
Angels and DP
100. He knows that eventually he has to follow the
same principle that even the omniscient and
omnipotent God must follow.
It is like a constitution that even a powerful
president must follow.
/SMM 1973
Angels and DP
101. Jesus died on the cross, but he did not die in the
son's position.
If Jesus died in the son's position, then he was a
victorious offering to God and does not need to
come again.
Angels and DP
102. But he could not be offered wholly.
He lost his physical body and only offered his spirit.
This is equal to the angel's offering in the spiritual world.
That is why Christians go to paradise instead of
heaven in the spiritual world.
Angels and DP
103. In other words, the spiritual world,
dominated by the archangel, is the realm of the archangel.
To go beyond that realm, victory must be won on earth
in the physical world.
That is the will of God.
That is the meaning of Jesus' presence on the earth
and the spiritual world.

104. The Korean Language And The Spirit World
When you enter heaven, if speaking the national
language is one of the subjects, what are you going to do?
The homeland language. This is the Principle.
In accordance with the Principle, Adam and Eve's sons
and daughters would speak the language that Adam
and Eve spoke.
/SMM 1983
Angels and DP
105. By my son Heung Jin Nim going to the spiritual world,
what happened to heaven and earth?
Angels and Abel which had been separated as earth
and heaven got tied together like twins.
Angels and DP
106. I created such a scheme.
If they become one, parents will be mobilized on that
foundation.
It is the Principle view. Heung Jin Nim is the Abel-type son.
You have to know that this son went to the spiritual world
while Father established indemnity conditions in the
Dominion of the Principle
on the foundation of True Parents' love.
/SMM 1984
Angels and DP
107. There is only one way to go directly.
That is to go to the family, tribe, race, nation, world
and spiritual world and up to the heavenly throne.
On the way, you have to give others directions with a
signal of love to guide them.
Do you have confidence to go to the Kingdom of Heaven?
If it happens that an angel of love can give signals
to the love car, it can guide you to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Even though this road is winding, it is a highway.
/SMM 1986
Angels and DP
108. Spiritual world must be mobilized.
Otherwise, how can we create the heavenly kingdom?
[We cannot.]
Heavenly kingdom is supposed to start from True Parents
and not from fallen descendants.
As the angelic world assisted at the time of Adam,
spiritual world should return to earth and assist the earth
with re-creation.
Isn't this -the Principle of Resurrection?
It will be considered true when it is realized in reality.
/SMM 1987
Angels and DP
109. The time of the past was the period of angels and
good spirit persons who had gone to the spiritual world.
The present time is the period of parents.
And the future will be the period of God.
Therefore, those who are not able to mobilize the spiritual
world, parents, and God, cannot enter the Kingdom of God.
This is the same situation as when the angels and
God helped Adam and Eve.
/SMM 1987
Angels and DP
110.
111. You have to know about the spirit world.
When you offer your prayer and sincerity (jeonsong),
the image of the spirit world will be unfolded in front of you.
How wonderful it is!
Angels will come down and dance. How wonderful!
I am not a man of illusions. I have memorized everything.
We will live our lives there travelling all over the place.
/SMM 1990
Angels and DP
112. If the birthright on the satanic foundation gets reversed
(people on Earth restored through returning Resurrection)
and Adam comes to have the birthright,
the Archangel will listen to Adam and follow him.
Isn't that right? If the Archangel stands in the position
to absolutely obey, he will come into the realm of God's
love and Adam's love.
He will then enter the Kingdom of Heaven,
following Adam naturally. It is the Principle.
