areas and comfortable reading by the hearth

• Indoor and outdoor space for programing
• Expanded storage for ongoing book sale,
children’s activities and crafts
• Adequate delivery and work space
• Children’s area for group events, reading
with grandparents. Space for concerts,
book clubs, gaming etc.
• Business resource room for copies, fax,
scanners, wireless printers and 3D printers
• Current shelf space is crowded
• Bathrooms not open on weekends and
evenings
• Inadequate seating
• No place to socialize when library is closed

Fran is a aide that cares for and does activities for dementia
patients. Weekly she comes in and talks to Holly about what
children picture books would be best for her patients. She says
that the library is just a great resource for her job.

The library and communal area will be open to residents
and vacationers for business or pleasure. Many of the areas
will overlap creating spaces for multi-purpose use.
