Dong Hyun Im is a South Korean archer born in 1986 who is legally blind in one eye with severely impaired vision in the other eye yet still competes at the highest levels of archery. He sees only blurred colors and lines at the target from 76 yards away but can still hit the bullseye. Im holds the world record for archery achievement despite his visual impairment and refuses corrective surgery, relying on his remaining blurred vision.
