Don Criqui received the Pete Rozelle Radio and Television Award for his accomplishments after starting his 46th consecutive year broadcasting the National Football League on network television. The Pete Rozelle Radio and Television Award, given by the Professional Football Hall of Fame, recognizes individuals who have made exceptional long-term contributions to radio and television coverage of professional football. Past recipients include Al Michaels, Jim Nantz, and Frank Gifford. The award is named after Pete Rozelle, who spent 30 seasons as NFL commissioner and oversaw the growth of television contracts that established the NFL as the most popular sport in America.
