good deals in everyday transactions and loves opportunity pages like Gumtree and discoveries like
garden sales and big discounts in warehouses. He, his wife Anna and the kids usually eat out on
weekends. Frank has an smart phone but his social media activity is a Twitter account that hasn't
been updated since May 2009
Needs:
● Expand the knowledge of bars around his office with detailed information.
Goals:
● Find new places suitable for different work related environments
● Find cheap quality places to eat with the family
Frustrations/Constraints:
● Doesn't want to cope with crap. Wants to access the information as fast as possible.

Petr and Jan are travelling around the world and have decided to stay in Sydney for the summer
while raising some money. They don't know anything about the city but want to enjoy it since the
very beginning going out, having parties and exploring its possibilities. Money is not a direct issue
if they have a good time, but as backpackers they keep an eye on it. He has a Facebook account that
updates from time to time with pictures and comments on the trip. He has a very simple and cheap
phone.
Needs:
● Find a plan for the night.
● Feel that the place they want to go fits their spirit and expectations.
Goals:
● Discover Sydney night life.
● Save some money in the process
● Find some “traveller secret places” to recommend other fellow travellers and boast with
acquaintances. Maybe a nice cafe to take an eventual romance.
Frustrations/Constraints:
● Complete ignorance of the city zones and ambients
● English is not his mother tongue.
● He is keen on exploring but his trust on the site will go down drastically after a couple of
failed attempts.
