Location/Area All provinces in the region will be taken as the Project area
Coverage: while only the provinces of Benguet, Apayao and part of
Abra shall serve as the Project sites.
Description:
The project aims to enhance the citizen’s condition health condition particularly of
women and children through the delivery of effective and efficient Maternal and Child
Health (MCH) services.
The project seeks to: (a) strengthen the local health systems in all the CAR Provinces;
and (b) improve the quality of health services.

Remarks: Project was launched on March 13, 2012. However, the
project has yet to fully take-off since JICA has yet to
procure and deliver the medical equipments for the
provinces of Abra and Apayao.
