This document discusses Criteo's C# development workflow, which has evolved over time. Originally, code was split across many repositories with each team responsible for a few. This led to slow change propagation and dependency issues. The new workflow aims for early integration using trunk-based development with all commits on the main branch. A "MOAB" job continuously builds all C# code from latest commits. Developers can check out snapshots from this job or all sources. Pre-submit tests are run before merging changes. Trunk-based development enables continuous delivery but requires strong test coverage and avoids large changes.

Zero-Copy Compositing in WebKitGTK+ for GUADEC 2015 (GUADEC 2015)
Gwang Yoon Hwang presented on zero-copy compositing in WebKitGTK+ at GUADEC 2015. He discussed accelerated and off-main-thread compositing approaches and how coordinated graphics uses a dedicated compositing thread. Reducing texture uploading and removing texture copies between processes and threads can help achieve zero-copy compositing. The current status is that WebKitGTK+ can be built with threaded compositing, but full support for WebGL, Canvas, and video still requires more testing before being enabled by default.

Wayland support in WebKit2GTK+ (GUADEC 2014)
Wayland support is being added to WebKitGTK+ to replace its existing X11 backend. It implements hardware-accelerated compositing of rendered content layers through OpenGL/OpenGL ES by using a nested Wayland compositor in the UIProcess. This allows the WebProcess to be an EGL client of the compositor. It requires some additional EGL extensions and a small Wayland protocol extension. Testing is challenging due to hardware limitations but provides an opportunity to improve performance and support for embedded targets like Raspberry Pi.

Last year we presented the vision and road-map of Gerrit multi-master setup at GerritHub.io. This year GerritForge and the Gerrit community have released the first version of the multi-site plugin, based on the legacy of the successful high-availability plugin started years ago by Ericsson.
The multi-site plugin is a 100% OpenSource solution and does not require any proprietary software installed or hardware/software level filesystem replication: it is fully based on the replication, healthcheck and multi-site plugins.
Multi-site is a journey and the Community is making big steps towards it.

This event will adopt a hybrid format, allowing participants to join us either through an online Mircosoft Teams session or in person at TU/e located at Den Dolech 2, Eindhoven, Netherlands. The meet-up will be hosted by Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), a research university specializing in engineering science & technology.
Power Grid Model
The global energy transition is placing new and unprecedented demands on Distribution System Operators (DSOs). Alongside upgrades to grid capacity, processes such as digitization, capacity optimization, and congestion management are becoming vital for delivering reliable services.
Power Grid Model is an open source project from Linux Foundation Energy and provides a calculation engine that is increasingly essential for DSOs. It offers a standards-based foundation enabling real-time power systems analysis, simulations of electrical power grids, and sophisticated what-if analysis. In addition, it enables in-depth studies and analysis of the electrical power grid’s behavior and performance. This comprehensive model incorporates essential factors such as power generation capacity, electrical losses, voltage levels, power flows, and system stability.
Power Grid Model is currently being applied in a wide variety of use cases, including grid planning, expansion, reliability, and congestion studies. It can also help in analyzing the impact of renewable energy integration, assessing the effects of disturbances or faults, and developing strategies for grid control and optimization.
