11. The corporate tax rate levied on business
profits is 23% for year, 2022 and 20% for
year, 2023.
When dividends are paid out, the company is required to
make a withholding from the dividends. The rate of
withholding tax is 10%. Dividends paid to a Turkish
resident entity or a Turkish branch of a foreign company
is not subject to the withholding tax.
The standard VAT rate applies to all
supplies of goods or services, unless a
specific measure provides for a reduced
rate or exemption. It is 18%.

Nazli earned the Bachelor’s Degree in Law and International Relations from Koç University.
She completed EU Law and Banking and Finance Regulation program in EBS Universitat für
Wirtschaft und Rechts, Frankfurt. She was selected as the Young Tax Professional of the
year in Turkey by EY in 2017. She is holding LLM degree in Medical Law from Galatasaray
University She worked in inleading law firms in Turkey such as DLA Piper, Clifford Chance.
She focuses on contract law, corporate law and medical law. Nazlı has en excellent
command in English and is native in Persian.

Demet earned the Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Yeditepe University. She completed her
master degree in International Relations from Galatasaray University. She had worked in a
leading maritime law firm (C&C) in Turkey. She focuses on maritime law, dispute
