code and see how intricate the genetic
replication of its code is.

● A polymer (polynucleotides) chain with monomers called nucleotides
● backbone made out of a phosphate and a sugar base.
● 4 different nucleotide bases
● Each nucleotide is made up of a 5-carbon deoxyribose and a nitrogen base attached the
phosphate group
● Nucleotides are adenine, guanine, cytosine and thymine
