The meeting barn at Dixie Plantation in South Carolina was designed to serve as a multipurpose space for events while respecting the ecological landscape. Its design drew inspiration from local vernacular structures and previous agricultural buildings on the site. The barn has a cypress great room, screened porch overlooking the Stono River, and was built according to sustainable principles. It is part of a comprehensive master plan to preserve the landscape and history of the property.
