Members manned booths at the Singapore Recreation Club lobby and poolside cafe entrance wearing SRC Toastmasters t-shirts. They introduced the benefits of Toastmasters for overcoming the fear of public speaking and gaining skills in impromptu speaking. Interested potential members were provided information on joining including benefits, costs, the educational program, and a flyer for an upcoming workshop on public speaking techniques. The successful recruitment event resulted in some new members and was an enriching experience for the toastmasters.
