Drivers agree that cell phone use should be restricted while driving but don't always follow the rules. While talking on handheld phones has decreased 14% since 2009, accessing the internet and reading social media while driving has more than doubled according to a survey by State Farm. The majority of drivers support laws limiting cell phone use but are increasingly engaging in other distracting behaviors like social media while operating a vehicle.
