DISCALSA is a family-owned company based in La Rioja, Northern Spain. Over
years we have specialized in the production of home tables and chairs that
people needs in terms of functionality, aesthetics and comfort.
The company was founded in the 50’s as a producer of rush chairs.
DISCALSA, as it is today, was created in 1996. Since then it has evolved,
constantly developing new designs to meet changing market needs and
new materials to offer the best values and service. As a result, it rapidly turned
one of Spain’s leading producer of tables and chairs.
Now, in its second generation, DISCALSA has taken a step forward in its
development with a rebranding that has been accompanied by the launch of

life. Launched at Il Salone del Mobile. Milano 2016,
SILKE TECH is the epitome of the new evolutive table
concept created by DISCALSA.
SILKE TECH, as well as the standard SILKE, is a fixed table that mixes in a very smart
way different noble materials. The table top is made of marble-like ceramic, and is
supported by a structure made of oak wood that sits on top of metallic legs. A solution
that provide spaces with visual comfort and a real sense of authenticity.

What about cooking directly on the
table top? No tricks, with SILKE TECH
you can. The table incorporates the
TPB TECH induction cooking worktop
that opens tables to a world of
possibilities. The inductors are placed
under the surface and are activated by
on-off buttons perfectly camouflaged
on the worktop.. Laser markers
indicated where to put the saucepan or
the pot and even though the worktop
gives off heat, it does not burns… So,

The standard SILKE is available in four different
configurations: with round, square, rectangular or
elliptical ceramic tops. The elliptical version is offered in
two widths (100 and 120) and up to 6 different lengths
(160, 180, 200, 220, 240, 250).
The range of finishes is quite wide and allow to customize tops and legs according to
the taste and needs of clients. Ceramic tops are available in 21 colour options that
imitate natural stones and marbles. Legs are made of metal and come lacquered in
epoxy DT colours.

is the natural essence evoked by the ceramic

In KIRE design plays the leading role. Its slender figure features a sleek design
accentuated by the clean lines and the beautiful bow end rectangular shaped
ceramic top, in its standard configuration. A synchronized extension mechanism
makes it possible to easily adjust the table size according to need.
Although visually and structurally light, the metallic legs add personality to the piece.
On demand of clients and professionals, other top configurations are also possible.
KIRE is perfectly complemented by the KOA chair, a new proposal of the brand that
