  • #4 LegalShield provides affordable legal protection plans to individuals, families and small businesses in the United States and Canada through a network of sales associates, agencies and brokers. We also offer an affordable and comprehensive consumer identity theft plan. These plans are sold as group voluntary benefits that employers can offer their employees. The legal protection plans start at $16.95 a month, and the Identity theft protection plans start at $8.95 a month. Small businesses can purchase LegalShield legal plans as a sort of “virtual” legal department for day-to-day legal issues such as debt collection and contract review. LegalShield also offers the Commercial Driver Legal Plan to protect driver’s rights on and off the road, and has an Affinity Program to develop co-marketing partnerships with complementary organizations. Another important aspect of the LegalShield business model is our direct sales organization. Our direct sales force focuses on recruiting and selling plans on a one-to-one basis to members who are not part of employee groups.
