This course focuses on developing digital strategies for sustainability in global emerging markets. It includes a field trip to Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates where student teams will conduct consulting projects with five local companies. The course combines lectures, readings, guest speakers, and an experiential learning component. Students will enhance their understanding of sustainability strategies, digital business models, and high-growth emerging markets. They will also gain experience developing and presenting consulting recommendations to real companies during the international trip. The pedagogy is designed to provide an integrated understanding of sustainability, digital technologies, and business practices in global contexts.
