This document outlines the requirements for a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Digital Media with a Digital Media sequence at Cleveland State University. Students must complete 44 credits with a 2.25 GPA, including required core, division core, and sequence courses. The sequence includes digital media production and history courses, as well as a capstone project. Transfer students must complete at least 20 credits at CSU, and all majors must pass COM 101 and COM 303 with a C or better. Recommended additional courses include art, music, theater, and other communication courses. Students should contact the School of Communication for advising.

Students must complete a minimum of 44 credits and maintain a 2.25 GPA to graduate with a
major in Film and Digital Media. Majors must take the required core courses and electives in one
of the following three sequences. Eight credits of student’s major-field requirements must be
approved theory courses. Transfer students must obtain at least 20 credit hours including a
capstone from Communication courses at Cleveland State University. All School of
Communication Majors are required to successfully complete Com 101 (Principles of
Communication) and Com 303 (Communication Inquiry) with a minimum grade of C.
