Some causes of Diarrhea?
Diarrhea is a condition that involves frequent passing of loose or watery
stools . It can make you feel weak and dehydrated
The most common cause of Diarrhea is stomach flu. Other causes include:
Infections due to eating or drinking food or
water that contains bacteria or viruses or
protozoa
Certain medications like antibiotics or drugs
for cancer
Irritable bowel
Mal-absorption (having difficulty absorbing
certain
kinds of nutrients from food)
Chronic diarrhea may be symptom of
internal diseases
Contaminated food
Bacteria causing

Simple precautions that can help prevent Diarrhea
Avoid eating uncooked vegetables or fruits without peels
Avoid ice unless it is made from bottled or purified water and try drinking only
bottled water to avoid infection
Healthy bacteria as found in yoghurt may help prevent diarrhea associated with
antibiotics
Drink clean water Wash hands before
eating
Do not eat raw meat Keep food covered

Diagnosis for Diarrhea
Diarrhea caused due to mild viral stomach infection goes away on its own within
a few days. In fact in most cases acute diarrheas are self limiting.
