Our product is a dessert called Petit Suisse cheese made from milk, cream, and fruit jams. We choose to export it to Holland because natural and healthy products are not commonly found there. We believe we would be successful because our product is innovative, high quality, nutritious, and affordable. Research shows that Colombia has experience exporting dairy products for years, though it has been dependent on Venezuela. Colombia exported over 1,000 tons of dairy products worth $11.8 million to several countries in 2009, with liquid milk and cheese gaining market share over powdered milk.
