PROJECT
Design a space for CAMEO (Columbus Area Multi-Ethnic
Organization)
The space had to be able to create revenue to support itself,
function as a place to house cultural events, as well as house
offices and a conference space
CONCEPT
My partner and I chose to utilize geometric volumes to build the
spaces throughout the building. These spaces open up into one
another to divide up the varying areas throughout the building. The
first floor of the building is broken up into a cafe, gallery, and
restaurant while the second floor houses office spaces as well as
classrooms.

Design a space for CAMEO (Columbus Area Multi-Ethnic Organization)
The apartment building was put into the school that was connected to
the church where CAMEO’s spaces are located. The apartments serve
as a source of revenue for CAMEO.
CONCEPT
Geometric volumes are used in the apartments as well, but on a
smaller scale than the CAMEO space.

To design a pure and sophisticated store environment through the use of clean lines, sleek
design, and modern finishes. The goal is to create a connection with the store’s clients that
will entice them to shop in store instead of online. To do so, the store will provide the instant,
tangible gratification of being able to see and try out the products while also offering a
connection with the store associates as well as the technology that customers are finding

CONCEPT
Shift Museum Hotel is a contemporary hotel with a classic infusion accomplished
through the modernization of some of the original building’s architecture. While the
hotel has a lot to offer, the main feature is the hotel’s museum which displays art of all
kinds from local artists as well as well-known artists. Every couple of months or so the
museum rotates artists and collections to keep guests coming back to see new and
exciting pieces. The restaurant and bar in the hotel also rotate along with the museum
by matching their menus and signature drinks to the art genre or artist that is in the
museum at the time. The restaurant and bar also reflect the atmosphere of the
building as a whole and feature some of the rotating museum pieces while still keeping
up a trendy, contemporary look.
