OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students
should be able to:
a. use the prepositional phrase
showing locations in sentences;
b. show the location of objects by in,
on, under, and other prepositions
correctly; and
c. appreciate illustrating sentences.
PREPOSITIONAL
PHRASE
A preposition is a word that connects a noun,
pronoun or noun phrase to show direction,
time, place, location, spatial relationships, or to
introduce an object.
Prepositional phrase is made up of
preposition and a noun or pronoun and all the
words in between.
For example:
The water is in the jar.
She is walking under the sun.
The book is on the table.

Direction: Underline the preposition used in
the sentence.
