Thomas DeLorenzo has researched several public health policy issues in California including the effect of increasing personal belief exemptions on vaccination rates, regulating hydraulic fracturing, mandating mail-order pharmacies, and pre-term c-sections on healthcare costs. He also examined groundwater depletion in Coachella Valley and the HPV vaccine mandate in Virginia on long term costs. His pending research concerns whether parents have a constitutional right to not vaccinate their children and potential penalties.
