Production Activity Control (PAC) is the process that coordinates, schedules, and controls manufacturing resources. It includes various plans for action, reporting achievements, and adjusting plans as needed. According to McMahon, a simple PAC architecture consists of five key components: scheduler, dispatcher, monitor, mover, and producer.

following five building blocks :
