Description:
We develop DTH applications and host them in an app store to be viewed in Television
using Set-Top-Box. We gather the necessary information from Amazon S3’s multimedia
database and flush the data to a MySQL database. Then we leverage JAX-WS web
services to project the information from MySQL database onto the UI. UI has been
developed using HTML 5 and CSS3. Since the applications project multimedia data
pertaining to various aspects of the community, they are referred as Infosys Lifestyle
Applications.
Responsibilities Discharged:
1. Development of Web services using Spring framework.

This Application is developed to automate the process of reading the data from
CSV files and then flushing the same to database on daily basis. We have
downloaded the videos on a regular basis from RSS Feeds using a scheduler job.

 Integrated Amazon Web Services into the application to download the objects
from Amazon S3.
