NGO activities
•KKSS (Adoption center for abandoned babies)
•Built a Rs.32 lakhs Training and Convention Center to provide the
organization with an income generating facility to make them self centered.
•Contributed Rs.1.05 lakh towards an adoption movie.
•Provide monthly support of pharmacy expenses.
•Siragu (Hostel and school for kids from disadvantaged section of society)
•Support monthly expenses for the first six months of the year.
•Child (Home for AIDS affected children)
•Support monthly expenses of Rs.12k.
•Provided computer, tuition and volunteer time.
•Amrith (Day-care center for physically and mentally disadvantaged)
•Classroom and other requirements based on request – Rs.60k

NGO Activities (Cont)
•Flood Relief
•Spent a total of Rs.2.2 lakhs towards flood relief activities in AP, Karntaka
and Manila, Philippines.
•Other activities:
•Conducted H1N1 awareness activities in all adopted NGOs.
•Volunteered time with Habitat for Humanity where 30 managers helped
build homes for the homeless.
•Conducted Project Greenhand in association with Isha foundation to plant
over 175 trees through 150 associates in their own neighborhood.
•Volunteered time with all three adopted agencies to ensure associate
engagement in NGO facing Deeksha activities.

Marketing Activities
•Established clear, achievable goals in the beginning of 2009 (Improve
awareness, improve collections).
•Executed 2009 as per marketing plan established in the beginning of the year.
•Beat associate contributions target by 28% achieving over 11 lakhs (excluding
fund-raising activities) which is 3 lakhs over the targeted 8 lakhs.
•Started a Foundation Training Program awareness activity ensuring that every
new associate to Dell PS BPS has an opportunity to contribute.
•Started “Birthday Cards” ensuring that all associates were given an opportunity
to contribute relatively large sums on their birthday.
•Continuously updated previous contributors to ensure awareness of program
spending.
•Continuously updated managers to ensure top-down continuity of the program.

Fund-raising Activities
•Conducted a Cricket Tournament in Chennai and CBE and collected Rs.65k.
•Conducted a Carnival in both cities and collected over Rs.3 lakhs.
•Conducted several movie screenings to collect over Rs.5 lakhs.
•Increased online funds through a number of marketing initiatives (slide 5).

Next Steps
•Adopt a third NGO in Chennai and a new NGO in Coimbatore to replace
existing organizations due to problems related to non-performance.
•Increase spending in Chennai to hold minimal cash balance.
•Increase pledges and spending in Coimbatore.
