CONTENTS
BKE Events (BKE) is an event design and production agency based in Washington, DC., that
among other aspects of luxury fashion services, specializes in state-of-the-art productions.
BKE imagines, creates, and produces fashion shows, independent designer presentations,
and signature lifestyle events that connect people with brands at all the touch points. With
access to Washington, DC’s exclusive and luxurious facilities to include Embassy Row, Galleries,
and Hotels, BKE has the space, the talent, and the network to execute flawless attractions to
influence tourism and trade in DC. DC Swim Week 2017 brings a strategic vision to fashion via
dynamic multimedia, the latest technology, and a team of professional creatives delivering a
dramatic client branded, and consumer friendly, environment.

DC Swim Week (DCSW) is a boutique annual event
showcasing an exclusive selection of national and
international designers illustrating sophisticated
fashion from around the world. DCSW brings together
international luxury designers to garner a global-
perspective on fashion and design. We recognize local
and made in the usa brands in tandem with international
brands to inspire luxury lifestyle networking and trade-
linked enterprise in our nation’s capital. DCSW’s mission
is to support sophisticated brands and offer the best
resources and space to show their collection in a
distinguished environment. DCSW is also committed to
sustainability, which is why our event is a GREEN event,
and our Venue at the French Embassy is GREEN as well.
In its 3rd annual production, from July 26-29, 2017,
DCSW17 will unveil S/S 2018 collections from 20+
designers in the luxurious oasis: La Maison Française (The
French Mansion/Embassy). DCSW17 is a state-of-the-art
fashion show where we bring the best mix of EMERGE
(undiscovered) and DESIGNER LTD. (known specialty
designers) to the runway and focus on featuring the latest
in design. At its core, the event is about creativity, building
relationships, and networking while connecting suppliers
with buyers all in a luxurious lifestyle event. Designers will
have access to fashion insiders/Influencers, jet setters,
buyers, local and national retailers, photographers, artists,
fashionista’s, bloggers, brand representatives, press,
models, and special guests.
In 2016, www. dcswimweek.com, the virtual home of DCSW17 received over 100K visitors from all
over the world. This year the site is expanded to host so much more. As a designer, you will have a
page featuring your logo, a brand bio, images of your brand, alongside all your social media wigits.
Before, during, and, to our delight for months after, our designer pages were/are the most visited
pages on our site. This year we’ve ramped up for way more to include separate press releases and
social media posts exclusively about your brand on all of our social sites.
DCSW17 would like to welcome you to be a part of a dynamic and growing creative community with
2 days of runway fashion, designer collaborations, art exhibitions, designer discovery and the latest
in digital experiences. We’ll bring global, cutting-edge style, innovation, and trends to one place -
DCSW17- to inspire both business-to-business and business-to-consumer transaction and trade,
but most of all, to develop a new kind of collaboration and celebration of culture and creativity. Our
audience will be filled with consumers and buyers ready-to-purchase your latest designs; and media,
ready to write and photograph the unveiling of your new collection.

THE VENUE:
The premises of the “Maison Française” offers 11,250
square feet of space, which includes a sky lit lobby,
auditorium, ballroom (runway), lounge, exhibition
gallery, patio, bar area, and landscaped terrace.
GREEN EVENT:
La Maison Francaise is a Green Embassy, and
DCSW17 will be a Green event, so your support will be
considered engaging in eco-friendly practice from an
environmentally mindful event and organization.

1. GENESIS: We open our show
with Garden of Eden vibe. This is all
natural, sun-kissed skin and brazen
forms. Diluted and pale color pal-
ette: White/Green/Nude colored
modern and natural designs.
2. THE FALL: This
is pastel palette of
designs and very
romantic/womanly
vibe. Ties, ruffles,
fringe, etc. She
has “fallen head
over heels.”
3. APOCALYPSE/REBEL-
LION: Bright colors, We
close with Avant-garde
shapes, statement pieces.
Beauty will be sleek with
smoky eyes. Heavy on
Patterns and Optical illu-
sion. Modern and Futuris-
tic. This is a re-birth and

opportunities/additional room for models/designers to sit
and set-up in outside of back-of-house (should you want
your logo in the background please bring a 3’x3’ decal - if
you don’t have we can have made upon request.)

OUR COMMITMENT
We create a mobile office on site at DCSW17 complete with all of the necessary equipment to serve
our client's last minute needs: including last minute printing of line up changes and a full stylist kit.
We provide access to media/bloggers/influencers/buyers. We will have an appointment book where
the media will be able to interview our designers and get an understanding of your brand. Buyers will
be able to place wholesale orders with your brand at their appointments. This happens on the day op-
posite of your runway show.
Our on-site mobile office is quickly moved to a hotel within a few blocks of the show for our PR team
to prepare post event releases and get them serviced to the media within 6 hours from the show...This
is a huge advantage to securing more coverage for our brands. No other shows do this.
Your success is our success. We go above and beyond to make sure every designer is satisfied and
comfortable with everything leading up to the show and way after.

• Brand information inclusion in press release(s) written for media publicity
• Access to our Digital Selling application where the audience can endorse, place orders, and
like as your product appears on the runway.
• Give you one day to coordinate with Buyers for wholesale, Media for press & interviews.

should you have media/buyers you would like to invite with printed invites.

• Entry into our Swimmy Award Ceremony - The 3 winners will receive an exclusive trophy,

• You own music should you want - supplied in two CD’s or Portable Drives
• Copy of our Attendee Directory which will be an industry keepsake.

  • 10. 10 OUR COMMITMENT We create a mobile office on site at DCSW17 complete with all of the necessary equipment to serve our client's last minute needs: including last minute printing of line up changes and a full stylist kit. We provide access to media/bloggers/influencers/buyers. We will have an appointment book where the media will be able to interview our designers and get an understanding of your brand. Buyers will be able to place wholesale orders with your brand at their appointments. This happens on the day op- posite of your runway show. Our on-site mobile office is quickly moved to a hotel within a few blocks of the show for our PR team to prepare post event releases and get them serviced to the media within 6 hours from the show...This is a huge advantage to securing more coverage for our brands. No other shows do this. Your success is our success. We go above and beyond to make sure every designer is satisfied and comfortable with everything leading up to the show and way after.
