Cloud Migration headache? Ease the pain with Data Virtualization! (EMEA)Denodo
Watch full webinar here: https://bit.ly/3CWIBzd
Moving data to the Cloud is a priority for many organizations. Benefits - in terms of flexibility, agility, and cost savings - are driving Cloud adoption. This journey to the Cloud is not easy: moving application(s) and data to the Cloud can be challenging and entails disruption of business, when not carefully managed.
When systems are being migrated, the resultant hybrid (or even multi-) Cloud architecture is, by definition, more complex AND making it harder/more costly to retrieve the data we need.
Data Virtualization can help organizations at all stages of a Cloud journey - during migration as well as in our “new hybrid multi-Cloud reality”
Watch on-demand this webinar to learn how Data Virtualization can:
- Help organizations manage risk and minimize the disruption caused as systems are moved to the Cloud
- Provide a single point of access for data that is both on-premise and in the Cloud, making it easier for users to find and access the data that they need
- Provide a secure layer to protect and manage data when it's distributed across hybrid or multi-Cloud architectures
… watch a live demo about how to ease the migration.

The document discusses how data and targeting can be used strategically. It provides examples of how narrowly or broadly targeted online campaigns can reach 78% or 38% of audiences accurately. Similarly, Facebook campaigns can reach 92% or 89% of audiences accurately depending on how narrowly or broadly they are targeted. The document advocates targeting audiences rather than channels as media consumption has changed significantly. It also discusses how Facebook brings together on-platform and off-platform data to enable granular targeting. Finally, it provides an example of how Bud Light used Facebook targeting and data to increase brand preference and drive beer sales among its target demographic.
Big Data Means Big Business
Big data has the potential to disrupt existing businesses and help create new ones by extracting useful information from huge volumes of structured and unstructured data. To realize this promise, organizations need cheap storage, faster processing, smarter software, and access to larger and more diverse data sets. Big data can unlock new business value by enabling better-informed decisions, discovering hidden insights, and automating business processes. While the technology is available, organizations must also invest in skills, cultural change, and using information as a corporate asset to fully leverage big data.
The document discusses how the ID Graph enables people-based marketing by centralizing customer data from multiple sources. Marketers currently struggle to target audiences across channels as consumers use multiple devices and online identities. The ID Graph addresses this by linking identifiers such as mobile IDs, cookie IDs, email IDs and social IDs to create a unified customer profile. This comprehensive view allows marketers to better understand customer behavior and interests, and target them more effectively with personalized, cross-channel messaging.
This document provides an overview of Hadoop and HDFS. It defines common terms like the name node and data node. It describes how data is written to and read from HDFS. zkStudyClub - LatticeFold: A Lattice-based Folding Scheme and its Application...Alex Pruden
Folding is a recent technique for building efficient recursive SNARKs. Several elegant folding protocols have been proposed, such as Nova, Supernova, Hypernova, Protostar, and others. However, all of them rely on an additively homomorphic commitment scheme based on discrete log, and are therefore not post-quantum secure. In this work we present LatticeFold, the first lattice-based folding protocol based on the Module SIS problem. This folding protocol naturally leads to an efficient recursive lattice-based SNARK and an efficient PCD scheme. LatticeFold supports folding low-degree relations, such as R1CS, as well as high-degree relations, such as CCS. The key challenge is to construct a secure folding protocol that works with the Ajtai commitment scheme. The difficulty, is ensuring that extracted witnesses are low norm through many rounds of folding. We present a novel technique using the sumcheck protocol to ensure that extracted witnesses are always low norm no matter how many rounds of folding are used. Our evaluation of the final proof system suggests that it is as performant as Hypernova, while providing post-quantum security.

Essentials of Automations: Exploring Attributes & Automation ParametersSafe Software
Building automations in FME Flow can save time, money, and help businesses scale by eliminating data silos and providing data to stakeholders in real-time. One essential component to orchestrating complex automations is the use of attributes & automation parameters (both formerly known as “keys”). In fact, it’s unlikely you’ll ever build an Automation without using these components, but what exactly are they?
Attributes & automation parameters enable the automation author to pass data values from one automation component to the next. During this webinar, our FME Flow Specialists will cover leveraging the three types of these output attributes & parameters in FME Flow: Event, Custom, and Automation. As a bonus, they’ll also be making use of the Split-Merge Block functionality.
