Dear Human Resources,
I’m writing in response to your advertisement for an Administrative assistant. I have over
ten years’ experience as a Medical Office assistant, and although I do not have the
associate degree you’re looking for, I have strong Clerical skills and proficiency in word
processing, databases, and spreadsheets. In addition, I have successfully provided
support services to a 40+ member pharmacy team, as well as managing all office
supply purchasing for pharmacy director and staff as well.
What my resume does not reveal is my professional demeanor and appearance. In a
business environment, these qualities are of the utmost importance in dealing with
clients as well as co-workers. In me you’ll discover a reliable, detail-oriented, and
extremely hardworking associate, one who will serve as a model to encourage other
staff members to demonstrate the same high standard of professionalism.
I’d like the opportunity to tell you more about my work experience and how my skill set
could contribute to the successful day-to-day running of your office. I’d be happy to
supply strong references at your request.
If you will contact me at (203)556-2496, we can schedule an appointment.
Sincerely,
Danielle Wright
