Lomer Hope, Grace, and Penny Dela Cruz were sent as missionaries from Bible Baptist Church in Cebu City, Philippines to Cambodia in March 1997. Through evangelism efforts like tract distribution and medical missions, they started a church in Dangkao village which grew over the years. In October 1999, they dedicated a new church building during floods, with some members attending by canoe. The missionaries' work included personal evangelism, operating a vacation bible school, graduating students from bible college, and sending church planters to new villages to establish churches.

3. The church in Dangkao was started through tract distribution which was done in Phum Thalay on July 1998 which was followed by Medical Missions in Phum Samboa on August 1998

4. Through Vacation Bible School and extension classes in the surrounding villages the church grew and a property was purchased in Phum Thmey, Sangkat Dangkao on February 1999

6. On October 1999, while floodwaters surrounded Dangkao, we dedicated our church building and some government officials came to witness God’s amazing grace. Some members came by canoe.

12. On July 2003 Bro. Syhok and Bro. Bunthon and two other young men graduated from Cambodia Baptist Bible College.

13. Sister Kim Sry and other ladies have willingly given their lives to serve the Lord with sacrifice and without hesitation.

18. We bring the kids from the surrounding villages and reward them for being faithful for a years’ program.

19. Dealings with those who want to get saved were sometimes done under The Tree after the services.

20. We have extended our church building with the state-of-the art baptistry. For the Glory of God!

34. Toul Sambo ministry began in 2002 by Eng Bunthon followed by another preacher. . . and was taken over by Bro. Syhok and now is passed on to Bro. Reaksa.

38. Bro. Thap Piseth was won to the Lord by Bro. Syhok and has now become a promising preacher of the Gospel.

40. Last June 4, we opened our own Bible school in Dangkao. We have a maximum of 7 students studying.

42. After church services we go out to the construction site and beg God to supply the need to construct a 4-story multi-purpose building to facilitate our school and ministries.
