buffalos and elephants.
-Make a list of other endangered animals in the park and come up with
ideas to protect them.
-SS make a mind map in groups to summarize all their information.
TUESDAY 5th
• Reading comprehension
-St. book pages 28-31: Read the story and answer the questions.
-SS read the story on Steve’s blog and, as they read, they should
underline the different emotions and feelings that appear in the text.
WEDNESDAY 6th
- First partial exam.
- Reading program.
THURSDAY 7th
• Creative writing
-St book page 32: In teams, SS complete the chart with the five
elements of the story.
-Following the steps mentioned in the Portfolio box, SS write a real or
fictional story set in a natural environment including the five elements
mentioned above.
FRIDAY 8th
• Visible thinking
-Reading program
-St. book page 33: SS work in teams of 4: they have to think about
going to the seaside and possible unpleasant situations that may occur.
Each S comes up with one possible problem and one idea on how to
avoid it. Each S contributes to complete the graphic organizer.
-SS copy a final version of the graphic organizer onto a separate piece
of paper. They use color and pictures to illustrate the possible problems
and solutions.
