Margaret Heffernan explores how disagreement can lead to progress in her TED talk "Dare to Disagree". She captures the audience's attention with a story from the 1950s and keeps them engaged through confidence, humor, and dominating the speech. She follows several TED commandments by sharing something new about the power of disagreement and telling stories that reinforce her message. While dynamic, she could have used more visuals to further engage the audience. Overall, the key takeaways are the importance of confidence, preparation, and avoiding simply reading a speech.
