Cyanotype is a photographic
printing process that produces a
cyan-blue print. Engineers used
the process well into the 20th
century as a simple and low-cost
process to produce copies of
drawings, referred to as
blueprints. The process uses two
chemicals: ammonium iron(III)
citrate and potassium
ferricyanide.
Deadline: Monday 21st
November
This week……
- Create a page on a Cyanotype
Artist. Add about what a Cyanotype
is and a little on the history as well
as information and opinions on the
artists work.
- Create several Cyanotypes using
your digital shoot. You could
experiment with sponging, painting
on the chemical and painting onto
different papers or fabrics
