10. Compatibility
Miracast
1. Supports Android phone or tablet pc with Android 4.2 OS.
2. Supports Ultrabook with Windows 8.1 OS.
3. So far does not support any iOS devices.
DLNA
1. Supports any Android phone or tablet pc only if it has DLNA
function.
2. Supports any iOS 6 and iOS 7 devices.
AirPlay
1. On iOS devices, only supports DLNA does not support Miracast.
2. On iOS, Miracast is called “Mirroring”.

11. Operation tips:
1. DLNA requires the phone or tablet pc to be connected to Internet
only if cast online video to TV but does not require the phone or tablet
pc to be connected to Internet if just cast local video/music/picture to
TV.
2. To cast local video/music/picture from the phone or tablet pc to TV,
need to install an app “iMediaShare” on the phone or tablet pc in
advance.
3. Miracast does not require the phone or tablet pc or ultrabook to be
connected to Internet, just build Wi-Fi connection between phone/tablet
pc/ultrabook and Miracast dongle is OK.

12. OTA (On The Air)
Supports OTA software upgrade. Just need to put the new
software on your server, the Miracast dongle will detect the new
software automatically and upgrade. OTA only works in DLNA
mode and need the phone or tablet pc to be connected to
Internet.
