Summary
I graduated with a Master in Biomedical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino in March 2016.
I worked on my Master Thesis at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (in the BEAMS Department) with as main
topic the design and development of a robotic Knee Simulator Device.
I had already had the opportunity to study abroad with the “Erasmus+” program at Université de Technologie
de Compiègne, in France, during my Master study. There, I had good opportunities to improve my French
speaking and writing skills, as well as I improved my knowledge in developing engineering projects.
All in all, thanks to my background and the skills I acquired, I am looking for a full or temporary job that could
give me the opportunity to work abroad.
Experiences
Traineeship, BEAMS Department of Université Libre de Bruxelles (Bruxelles, Belgium) 09/2015 – 03/2016
Designing and developing a robotic knee simulator device that can simulate some of the daily articulation movements (gait,
squat, stairs climbing and stand up/sit down) to test different types of total knee prosthesis.
Collaboration, Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy 02/2015 – 06/2015
Assistant of Prof. Bignardi for the courses "Design of Prostheses and Artificial Organs" in order to show and to help students
to be able to use simulation programs (Patran/Nastran) and CAD design (Rhinoceros/SolidWorks) for analysing how forces
and torques act on a knee prosthesis.
Collaboration, Politecnico di Torino 10/2013 – 02/2014
Collaboration at Prof. Bignardi’s "BioMechanics Engineering" course, during which I explained how to develop lab activities
and exercises.
Internship, Hospital “CTO/Maria Adelaide” (Turin, Italy) 05/2013 – 07/2013
Assisting orthopaedic surgeons during clinical activities in order to improve my basic biomedical knowledge. Besides, I had
the opportunity to observe several patients from first medical examinations to their surgical intervention, and lately, to
correlate issues related to orthopaedic implant, such as prosthesis failures and/or revisions.

Soft Skills
I am autonomous, flexible and able to adapt to different situations. During my 5 years of engineering studies, I
have developed a strong stress resistance, a proper attitude to precision and attention to details.
Eventually, through years of practice of different sports, I have developed excellent team working skills and a
good sense of self-discipline. Moreover, I have a strong sense of duty and I am able to plan and organize properly
the tasks I receive.
