Description:
We are no stranger to the fact that extended human life expectancy is largely due to
widespread improvement in medical technology used across the world. Regrettably, among
several types of cancer, breast cancer is the most lethal form of cancer in women.
Ultrasound imaging techniques is one of the available tools for cancer diagnosis. We select
an optimized subset of this feature set by using multi-cluster feature selection method that
gives the best performance in terms of Area under the Receiver Operating Characteristic
Curve. Thus, we propose a Computer Aided Diagnosis tool with a collection of 25 different
features to differentiate between malignant and benign tumors.
