PROFILE
I am a UCD graduate with a BA Honours Degree in English Studies, having incorporated aspects of Linguistics,
Psychology and Film Studies. I enjoy innovative content creation, maintain unparalleled initiative and thrive on
positive contribution. In recent years I have nurtured widely applicable research, administration, communication,
editing and digital marketing skills. Comfortable working independently or in a team, I am highly organised,
predominately self-propelled, versatile and goal orientated.
CAREER HISTORY
Art Invigilator: Temple Bar Gallery, 3rd August – Present
A varied role interacting with contemporary exhibitions, openings and event launches. From interpretation to
facilitation, my duties ensure inclusive engagement between current works, artists and audiences in tandem.
Production Assistant/Volunteer: Dublin Fringe Festival, 10 – 25th September
Sixteen days of varied tasks within an innovative yearly arts festival “where trends get set, where styles of
work and ideas are born”. I assisted production, social media coverage, box office, plus venue and hospitality
overview in numerous locations such as Smock Alley, The Lir and Spiegeltent at Merrion Square.
Temporary Graduate Position: Educational Research Centre, 16th May – 22nd June
A team-focused position within the educational research project PIRLS regarding the development of literacy
skills at primary level, backing the transformation of contemporary attitudes towards literature and
contributing to discussions informing educational policies.
With an administrative base we used print and digital resources, interacting with a wide readership, and
incorporating aspects of e-learning whilst sharpening my organisational skills and practice of editing detail
based text.

Front of House: Shanahan’s on the Green, June 2015 – March 2016
I became well versed with receptionist duties as well as administrative assistance, working with specialized
clientele I provided the highest standard of customer service.
I developed a friendly and efficient script, handling 35+ calls per shift. During which I accommodated all
special requests, directing calls to relevant managerial sections and distributing information as appropriate.
I assisted HR and Finance, developing executive skills, primarily working with data input, auditing
documents, file conversion, printing reports, and compiling accurate records.
Additionally duties included cashing at the end of the night, reconciliation of receipts with the micros system,
calculating gratuity, processing service charge and voucher sales.

Ambassador: Student Ambassadors UCD, Sept 2013 – May 2015
Acting as a representative for the university by giving tours to prospective students, acting as a spokesperson
at open days, and by working hands-on and with my peers whilst fundraising.
ACHIEVEMENTS
GAZE Festival: ardent contributor to the marketing and social media team. Culture Night: production assistant
and social media liaison across numerous locations. Dublin International Film Festival: venue and hospitality
volunteer. International Literature Festival Dublin: general assistant, having completed aspects of social
media coverage and market research.
I was an active member of the UCD English Literary Society and contributed to their publications.
