Contributed to and led multiple research programs like identification of differentially expressed proteins of
Leishmania donovani (causative agent of visceral leishmaniasis) under exposure to different stress environments
using iTRAQ reagents and subsequent mass spectroscopy, study the mechanism of stress management, functional
characterization of two proteins i.e. argininosuccinate synthase and peroxiredoxin by generating knock-out L.
donovani strain, studies on T-cell mediated response of PBMC samples isolated from visceral leishmaniasis (VL)
patients to develop DNA vaccine against VL (under LEISHDNAVAX project funded by European Commission).
