Title: Design and development of a machine to prepare and resize sugarcane for sowing purpose
Brief information: The project is basically a machine/equipment used for cutting sugarcane in pieces of
moderate size. These pieces are required for sugarcane planting and serve as seeds. This machine aims at
reducing the problems like fatigue, cost and problem of labour shortage associated with the conventional
method. It is first of its kind machine which operates on bicycle pedal.
We have also applied for patent of this machine. The application is under process stage.
