As an enthusiastic, progressive, dedicated educator with a diverse pedagogical skill set, I seek a
challenging educational opportunity that emphasizes engaged cooperative communication, encourages
creative thinking,and supports opportunities for growth within an urban academic setting. Bymeans ofan
“Organic” classroom environment,treated within the guidelines to thatof a writing workshop,mymethods
focus on the developmentofhigh-level thinking as means ofextrapolation ofthe environmentin which the
student resides. My main goals as an educator revolve around educating low-socioeconomic citizens to

PERSONAL INTERESTS
Within the pursuits of professional development, I am constantly searching for material and methods to
honour my educational philosophy,yet challenge my methodological approaches.I enjoy exploring ne w
literatures on subjects that explore developmental education methodology in urban education,
socioeconomic contraction and its strain on educational development, and other sociological constructs
involved in educational development. Outside pro-development interests, I enjoy reading modern and
post-modern literature, reading and writing poetry, and painting.
