Luis C. Rincón Alba is a PhD candidate in Performance Studies at New York University. He holds degrees from NYU, SUNY Stony Brook, and Universidad del Atlántico in Colombia. His research focuses on carnival, literature, and performance. Rincón Alba has taught courses at NYU and has received honors including fellowships from Fulbright, Tinker Foundation, and NYU. He has experience as a performer in experimental films, videos, and theater in the US, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, and Italy.
