- Hello everyone, My name is Charlotte, I am business analyst at Odoo and I am also the expert of the HR applications of the department. Customize payroll benefits on the salary configurator If you didn’t assist to the previous talk, you don’t know that if I am now working as Business Analyst, when I joined the company, I started working as a Talent Acquisition Officer in the HR department. We were already recruiting a lot of new candidates at that time and I was very often confronted to negotiation of the terms of the contract with the new employees.
- I believe a lot of you work in HR so you probably know that the period of negotiation is a crucial part in the recruitment decision and that we should not underestimate it. However, it can take a lot of time with back and forth between the candidate and the recruiter. It can also become very complex for the payroll team to register all the different advantages of the different employees on the contracts and let’s not talk about the computation of the salaries for the payslips
- Odoo has a different tools that enable you to manage the different aspects of the hr department such as the recruitment, the fleet management, the leaves of your employees, their attendance, their contracts, their payslips, appraisals, etc.
- But what interests us today for this talk it is the salary configuration. Last year we developed a new module that offered a lot of flexibility to the new candidates regarding the advantages they wanted in their contract: we have called it the Salary Configurator This module is of course fully integrated with the other hr applications to ensure the efficacy of the work of the hr department This year the module has been improved and is now available for each country. In this presentation, I will show you how you can easily customize yourself the salary configurator

- The salary configurator gives a lot of flexibility to the candidates but also to your current employees. This is a real added value for the branding image of your company. It saves a lot of time without back and forth between the recruiter and the candidate and everything is integrated on the contract of the emplouee. It’s a huge gain of time for the hr department.
